a 10 game ban to show they're serious about protecting officials? **** off with that bollocks. These wankers are already over protected, make any decision they want, send off a player for what ever reason then the following week the same incident happens with two diffrent sets of players and they don't even get booked. Yet they never need to face the media or even the managers and explain their decision? But Wenger should get a 10 game ban for a push? **** sake, their acting like it was a two footed dropkick, then a kick to the face when he was down. The refs will be running about with bodyguards soon, pushing away anyone that even looks in their direction. Corrupt wankers.

"Protecting Referees".......:lol::lol:

If you're seriously frightenend by the prospect of a nearly 70 years old man merely touching you, the only kind of protection you should be getting is a padded cell and a couple of pills.
In fairness, refs do deserve more protection in general. They get roared at by several players and managers after every decision, see rugby for good treatment of officials. The media witchhunt for Wenger is ridiculous though.
