Was a bit disappointed with Chamberlain, started off well but it was the same old story in the end. Beats a few players but then has no idea/ end product to finish off.

Faded hugely in the second half, almost a passenger, doesn't get involved in build up but also isn't looking to run in behind?

Iwobi, Walcott and possibly Gnabry should be huge concerns for him. Then there's guys like Wilcock, Jeff who will be pushing for game time.

If there is anyone that actually rates whoscored "match rating" statistic apparently Chambers played better against Liverpool than Kos did against the Foxes.
Squawka suggested the same thing. o_O

I'd like him to look to get in behind more often, but he's really not that sort of player. He's a very traditional winger who's first instinct is to take on his man and provide for the forwards/have a go if possible. He was our best player in the first half, no question.

In regards to fading in the second, that's more a fitness issue IMO. He has poor durability which is concerning. He needs to start being influential over 90 minutes rather than 60/70. What's good is he's playing with confidence, taking more shots, going down the outside and occasionally coming in- it's encouraging.

He's playing catchup, at 23 he's not where we all thought he would be and that's largely down to injuries. The only way he improves now is match minutes, Wenger needs to keep him in the team for a longish spell.

Those stats are based on what players do, as perfect as Kos was he didn't have to do a lot and Coquelin did indeed more. The contrast would be the FIFA rating, where your rating drops to 4.0 the moment you make a bad tackle

Kos didn't have a lot to do? Okay mate

Coquelin after his caution (almost resulting in a sending off) barely touched the ball after that, we ended up having a limited player whose main strength is to tackle running around for the remaining 30 minutes not being able to tackle!

There is nice defence analysis at arsenal on facebook. Probably on their home page too!

Holding had 9 clearances while 0 interceptions. He won 5 headers and 1 tackle.

Koscielny had 7 clearances while 3 interceptions. He won 2 headers and 0 tackles.

Holding did good I think copying Mertesacker role when playing with Koscielny, although there are still a lot of things to work on.

Both full backs had 4 interceptions.

So our defence was better than against Liverpool but that was to be expected with Koscielny coming in. Leicester didn't have a shot on target until in injury time, which I'm not sure I believe but I can't remember.

I find it laughable that ppl find those sites laughable. All they do is gather information (OPTA-Stats btw), put in a formula and give players a rating. What you do with those ratings is up to you. But to say that u know better and those sites are cringeworthy while you watch the game on tv and they collect EVERY thing a player does ...

Same Ppl that laugh about the new "Packing-Rate" without even knowing, what a helpfull stat that is.

Except he was tackling, and kept winning the ball, rewatch.

It was an easy game for both CBs. Win aerial duels against the short japanese guy and a Vardy who was prepared to run behind, recover the ball easily when the hoofing attempt from Leicester didn't reach its target, clear their poorly delivered crosses. Look what @hydrofluoric acid posted, the battle wasn't in our box.

Except he wasn't.

He made one big tackle towards the end of the game, apart from that he was a liability offensively, as usual.

Again, Coquelin almost cost us the game with his rash decision making. That should be heavily punished in any credible rating performance.

Koscielny on the other hand almost certainly stopped a goal with his brilliant tackle on Drinkwater towards the end of the first half. In a 0-0 game, that moment should have additional weight added to it given it directly led to us securing a point away.

These sites are laughable because as what @Oh_Snap says, they just collate data but it doesn't seem like they do any meaningful analysis with it, just put it into an algorithm and it spits out some number, no contextual analysis at all.

It's rubbish.
