I still dont see Walcott as a CF. Thats a alternative for Giroud but no preferred forward. He played on the wing last years - now only rarely. I think he did well there and should be played there more often.

Since this game is right after the CL game players' fitness should be taken into account as well. Ramsey, Coquelin and Bellerin ran a lot against Barca so there might be a change there. Plus, Ramsey had a collision with Kosc.

There's also the CF issue which needs to be addressed. I also believe Welbeck is a much better option for this since he can drag defenders away from their position and create space for runners. Furthermore, it's an away game which means there will be space behind their defence and we'll need someone quick to take advantage of this. Plus, Welbeck is far more creative than Giroud and Theo in terms of dribbling.

You would start Ox ahead of Campbell? After the horror of a season he's having? He'll probably won't be fit until then anyway.
Campbell keeps getting ignored despite being consistently effective when he plays. and why? because he's not as "talented" as the other players. BS.

Campbell despite the bright start has seen his form dip of late whilst Ox despite the poor first half of the season has seen his form improve. Add to that Walcott has been completely anonymous on the RW ( he should only play striker not on the RW in my opinion) since his return with the excpetion of his goals against Manchester city and Leicester. No one has cemented that RW role and if you consider Giroud's goalless streak no one has cemented the CF role yet.

Campbell needs to play period. I want my right winger to either be an inside forward who can score or a player who has a good work rate and someone who can pass the ball.

Theo is a bad short passer and he hasnt been scoring on the right lately so let theo or giroud play upfront vs swansea but against man united i want our front three to be able to pass and move the ball. Im tired of watching giroud holding up play while walcott is bombing forward and being caught offside.

For me Theo off the bench as a striker option. Og not playing sunday for rest/motivation. Joel looks great while passing the ball as he dribbles in the final third. Will really take some pressure off of Mesut.

That goal vs LCFC had nothing to do with him being on the right. He scored inside the box as the ball was played towards him. Outside that he did nothing a proper rw does now adays.

Same team that played Barca but with Welbeck in for Ox, assuming Ox is out of this. I dont want Walcott or Flamini even on the bench, they are both a waste of space.

Welbeck up top no question, It's ****ing Man U, he will be extra motivated for this, plus he's relatively fresh...Campbell on the right. He's fresh and I still personally prefer him to Ox. No other changes.

After the Leicester game i thought, 'United in two weeks, we're hitting some good form again, they look ****, i definitely fancy us for that game' - now i'm ****ing nervous. Two home games on the bounce without scoring, firing blanks left right and centre, players giving their all against Barca and coming up short due to the same frailties once again.. Things aren't too good for us atm. Way too many players out of form.

This game is a must win. United, Sp**s, Everton, West Ham, City are our remaining away games and United looks to be one of the easiest out of that list imo. We have to take advantage, because Sp**s will probably beat us the week after and we could see a real scary gap opening up if we don't start picking up points against the big teams again.

A loss would be catastrophic. They're ****ing ****.

I'm not a big fan of Welbeck but our lack of goals is a real issue. Giroud failed to score a goal in the last 8 games, he should be benched. I would definitely start Welbeck against United.
Welbeck is a beast since coming back. I love the way he plays might just be what we need

Spot on. Exactly what I was thinking.

I'll be surprised if we win this even after factoring in Manure's injuries.

3 points would be huge.

Giroud has run his course now. The guy needs to be benched and actually have some proper competition for him to get back to scoring ways again.

8 games without a goal during the period we've just had is so poor.

Welbeck deserves a run out for sure. Theo unfortunately still looks pretty hopeless on the wing so don't think he should be starting this one.

Campbell on the right.

This is the worst Arsenal attack i have seen under Wenger since he took charge. Arsenal always played the best football in the league. Good thing your defence and keeper is pretty good. Your biggest problem is that only Özil and Welbeck are good at keeping the ball under pressure. Sanchez, Ox, Ramsey, Giroud and Theo give the ball away too cheaply. Sanchez being the biggest culprit in my opinion. The reason why Welbeck was my fave player at Utd was because he was the best player at keeping the ball under pressure. You know when the ball comes to him it sticks and returns to a teamate. Yesterday in the second half Arsenal couldn't string 3 passes together. Özil and Welbeck together will probably change your style of play going foward. Hopefully Sanchez and Ox\Theo will help them and the team go back to what Arsenal are known for. Playing crisp passing football. A prime Hleb and Rosciky with Özil behind Welbeck would be football porn.
