You need to learn to read between the lines. Journalists love to exaggerate or give misleading information just for clicks.
Let me explain what might have occurred. Berta is trying to sell Martneli, and he asked about Osimhen, and they might continue to ask if they can buy Ethan. Then somebody leaked a story about how we want Osimhen and that we are willing to sell Ethan to them.

I think he'd be better as a wide forward for now and as he progresses can potentially be a devastating 9 in a couple of years. I don't think he has the creativity, passing range or vision to be a midfielder. Passing range can improve, of course.

Think currently his floor is a solid PL player, the sort of player we'd pay 50m down the line to plug a hole.

I don't think Arteta wants Nwaneri to play more like Ødegaard, per se, but I do think he wants Nwaneri to elevate his game so that he starts dictating the tempo a bit more. Sometimes Nwaneri seems so offensive minded that he can kind of become a passenger until someone feeds him a pass in a dangerous position. Nwaneri's ability is so high that he needs to have a bigger influence on matches.

Similarly, I think Arteta wants Ødegaard to play a bit more like Nwaneri too. Ødegaard's best season happened when he was taking up great attacking positions and scoring goals.

You can't teach someone how to dictate the tempo, you either have it in you or you don't.

He needs to go on a team with a manager that knows how to utilize attack oriented players. He is a guy that has a chance to be an end product machine, while still being good enough at the technical things.

There has to be a serious discussion whether Madueke is a credible option above Nwaneri.

More experienced to handle the pressure moments but that’s just because he’s got the time under his belt.

I don't know if it's Nwaneri and his camp that doesn't want to play out wide or if it is Arteta and the coaching staff that sees him strictly as a central player. For now, he should be playing more as a wide forward, since he is so attack minded. He is more talented than Madueke with better technique and end product.
