It took exactly 3 games for Marseille fans turn on him and after 3 games in Dortmund the same has happened. We should have loaned him to the Dutch league

What‘s up with these non-chalant young players? He‘s acting as if he has already made it. Starting to think we should‘ve sold in the summer.
Paying them more than they deserve that what happened some young players don't care just continue improving the others will turn complacent. Dortmund fans need to stay patient he new in the team

That will make it very difficult for him to find a role in a modern team (which perfectly suits him) where he doesn't have enough creative and ball playing traits to play as a 10, maybe doesn't have the dynamism and legs to be a modern winger, or the height and physicality to play as a lone striker.

I don't know how much interest Chelsea had in him but he is much better suited to the inside right role they have, rather than the outside right. Wonder if Chelsea would want to trade him for Estevao.
Isn't Estevao meant to be their Starboy? I still believe Nwaneri can improve his conditioning and athleticism to become a devastating false 9 or even CF. Remember he is still a teenager

I don't think Nwaneri's nonchalance is arrogance, I just don't think he has a forceful or imposing personality. He's not Myles. He never has been.

But not every person can be like that.

He needs G/A to impact games.

Let's see how it plays out, because he's immensely talented, but if people are expecting him to imprint his personality on games I think they've been watching the wrong guy.

Typical AM with people going to extreme opinions for a game they didnt watch and a random tweet posted.

His first start, overall the game was OK, he created good chances for the team. He improved in the second half. To be a truly top player he will have to impose himself on the game more, but its still very early so lets see.

I mean he is also still a teenager. Messi has a pretty introverted and laid back personality and was always aggressive on the pitch, trying to impose his will. Obviously Messi is a freak of nature, but Nwaneri's personality is not the issue. It's his conditioning and athleticism. Maybe he is one of those guys who doesn't have a great engine/stamina like Lacazette lol. But I still believe he can improve those things, he is too naturally gifted a footballer to not become a player. Maybe not at Arsenal, but I can see him becoming a beast in his 20s. It took Salah till he was 24 to develop into a world class player.

I’m glad he’s getting a lot of game time. Has a lot of Fodeisms I want him to shed if he’s to progress his game to be a main piece of a title winning team. Must be getting regular game time, that’s the most important thing rn

I've never been impressed when he plays in midfield. He is a threat when he can get close to goal because he has a good shot and can create space for himself to shoot. Seems more like a false 9 type than a midfielder to me.
But 19 is still very young for a midfielder if that is what he is supposed to be these days. Ødegaard was bouncing around on loans at that age tbf.

He's gunna be the next Nelson. Dowman and MLS broke through after him and are levels above him, at the end of the day that comes down to him.

When some is technically gifted as him. He needs specialist coaching in to a specific role within the team.

He doesn't have the natural footballing iq of MLS.

For me I can see him as that false 9. I really believe he has potential there.
Just because you are technically very good doesn’t mean you become top player. You either have the mentality for top club or you don’t

People hate to admit the main reason he isn’t getting a look in are is bc it is clear as day that Madueke is by far the superior athlete of the two by every metric and it’s not even close… his only better asset is technical ability on the ball.

In the modern game and in Arteta system being an athlete who is able to fit into our system and giving options to change strategy to affect the game it’s clear why he’s out of favour.

He is pretty bad defensively, doesn’t work particularly hard off the ball and doesn’t offer anything Dowman can’t.

Madueke is our only who can actually affect games during fast transitions on the counter against tired legs and let’s be honest whilst his end product sucks, he actually scares defenders I’d rather someone who has attributes that fits our playing (defending from the front)

What he needs is game time. Do not forget that he has not played consistently as a starter since his pro debut. I hope this loan will convince more clubs to sign him on loan next season as their primairly starter.

People making MLS comparisons, while forgetting MLS didnt even get a look in before the last month of the season. Things can change quickly in football.

Main thing is that he is getting regular football now, and we will see where it goes. I don't see the need to make premature conclusions 3 games into the season, whilst he has also created the most chances for the team

Marseille is a dysfunctional club that was cheering for a r*pist the last 2 seasons. Who cares what they thought of him under a manager who had an agenda against him? He's not there anymore. Let the kid have more than 5 minutes in Germany to get his feet under him.
