I don't think it's clear at all. We need a greater sample size which involves him starting PL games before you can really say he's better or worse than Jack or Cesc.He is clearly more talented than Wilshere and I loved jack the lad. You have the feeling that Nwaneri can develop into an end product machine. Jack never had that in the first team and you never got the feeling he was going to develop that way. Nwaneri also looks like a smarter player, Jack relied too much on natural ability and didn't really develop his football brain. Nwaneri has the physical edge, a better first touch and looks like a smarter prospect. Nwaneri, MLS and Dowman are the best prospects Arsenal ever produced. Just in terms of raw talent. As much as I rate Saka, he didn't look as talented as any of those three as a teenager.
I'm talking about talent and potential, obviously there is a high chance they don't live up to it. I believe Nwaneri is even more technical than Wilshere was with a more robust physique and higher football IQ.I don't think it's clear at all. Three players with no PL starts between them are the three best products Arsenal ever produced? You're buying way too much into the absolute best case scenario of potential realisation.
With all 3, the story is yet to be written. Dowman looks amazing for his age, but that doesn't always translate for humdreds of reasons. Anyone remember Cherno Samba or Fredy Adu?I'm talking about talent and potential, obviously there is a high chance they don't live up to it. very difficult to say, but Ethan impresse me more till now, expecially how easily he adapted to new levelsIf anything Dowman looks more of generational talent than Nwaneri, every of his compilation or highlights at that age of 14 makes you goes wow.

This really extends to a fair few players we had come through though. Trae Coyle was extremely promising as a schoolboy - he was even a bit similar in style to Nwaneri. Whenever I see Nwaneri, he reminds me of Coyle but with a bit more intensity on and off the ball. Injuries really did a number on him and he never really hit stride. Tyreece John-Jules is probably one of the most talented Hale End CFs in terms of pure ability and potential but again, injuries.I'm talking about talent and potential, obviously there is a high chance they don't live up to it. The hype around Freddy Adu was insane. He’s easily the most hyped youngster ever I remember reading about him in football magazines from when he was about 14 or younger it was constant hype about how this kid was the next Pele and already good enough to play for a big club. Completely dropped off the map after and never made any real impact on the game. With all 3, the story is yet to be written. I'm concerned that the hype could get in the way of the player. It is important that the club protect the player, and let him get on with it.This really extends to a fair few players we had come through though. For all the lyrical waxing we do, seeing how they move in the 1st team is the ultimate litmus test. It's unfortunate when some don't get the opportunity. For Dowman, we're all projecting very far into the future, and even with Nwaneri to an extent. We need to see how the next few years pans out for a few of them.
I'm quite optimistic on that front. The club have done a pretty good job all things considering. All we know about him is his talent and nothing else. He's been shielded quite well for a player of his ability and level. Anywhere else and he would have been talked about 10x more than he currently is. He's a freak of a player, there's no way the club could have possibly kept eyes away, but they're keeping it to matches right now.I'm concerned that the hype could get in the way of the player. I know I'm a bit of a killjoy on this.

but he does throw in a real sizzler from time to time
Naturally gifted in the same vein as Nwaneri for sure. He would have been a way bigger player if not for that initial injury in 2011. Never the same after that.Young Wilshere getting too disrespected on here
Jack was a top young player, Cesc though was a generational type talent. Is there a better midfielder in the world right now better than Arsenal Cesc? Nah.Young Wilshere getting too disrespected on here
He was talented, but didn't really think the game, he relied too much on natural ability. Bought into the Spanish technique with English heart propaganda, that's part of the reason he was always injured. Finesse players shouldn't try to be hard men.Young Wilshere getting too disrespected on here
I liked how he played for us in that 2010/2011 season. Was light on his feet and could evade players quite nicely. After the injury however he tried to reinvent himself as a Steven Gerrard type player, putting on way too much muscle for his size. Looked clunky which paired with his running style did him no favours. He was talented, but didn't really think the game, he relied too much on natural ability.
