Ethan Nwaneri: New Nwan-era?

Totally unphased by the occasion as I expected. The kid has it. He and MLS need to be given opportunities. They will seize them.

I hope both of them.

We know how Saka + ESR went.

Looked hopeful but ESR didn’t quite cut it due to a few factors including injuries.

Probably go for a different type of attacking midfielder, Nwaneri makes Eze redundant imo, does everything thing Eze does at an exceptional level, i know he's young but the boy is really special

He only has 1 year on his contract after this season. So it could be another opportunistic Edteta special. In which case I’d definitely take him at a good fee.

However, I definitely think that DM needs to be priority after this season with Partey and Jorginho reaching that age.
We need someone with excellent vision and long passing. Our system stalls without that.

Maybe even Rodri if City go down with the 115 🤞

Forget about the delayed pass to Havertz that block on Son will give him huge credit when it comes to selection.

He looks like he belongs physically, which is huge as that's usually what determines what sort of playing time such a young player gets.

His build looks really good. Legs look strong, wide base, core probably strong as well considering the others. Hope he doesn't pull a Wilshere and try to look like a bodybuilder, though, no need for the excessive weight.

Nwaneri getting some action in important games is the only silver lining of the disastrous decision to ship out so many of our forwards and only sign one.

Not to sh1t in peoples parade. He only came on because Saka couldn’t continue. But it was vital to see for Arteta putting in a young player doesn’t mean everything will collapse and it didn’t

He looks like a young player with no real fear, wanting the ball and finding another shirt and not static.

Im sure he will get minutes this season, Saka injury or not nice to see a talent 17 coming on in a big game NLD 1 0 up away from home. He certainly showed he is a talent .

Yeah to be honest he looked a little out of his depth, which is all good as he is 17.

Yeah, he looked a little overawed with it, took far too much time on the ball and should have released Havertz much sooner.

Still I doubt he's ever played in a match of that intensity so I'm sure it will stand him in good stead for the future. He's clearly a special talent.

Substitute appearances on Thursday then the Etihad and starting the CL games when we’re qualified in December hopefully.

Route to starting Cup games and maybe getting in team end of the season more.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
