I've got major stocks in Ibrahim, Salmon and Bailey-Joseph.On the bright side, the way our academy is going, we may only have to bother scouting right footed players, which are by far the majority! Of the right footers, Rosiak, Casey, Annous, Ife Ibrahim, Salmon and Bailey-Joseph all have a chance - if they develop well - to maybe make it to squad players. No doubt there are others younger still.
If we get knocked out of cl I'd be up for him trying something like that or trying one of them on the left at times. For now need to build game momentum even if nothing really left in the league to play forHear me out: a front three of Martinelli - Saka - Nwaneri. The fluidity would be madness. Arteta should think of trying this out at some point.
I think he could have done something if given more time. Really disappointing that he didn't get 25-30 minutes. Ødegaard was clearly not going to do anything positive. Having a capable ball carrier on that side to draw a man could have helped Saka a lot too.I know he's been a little undercooked of late but I don't like how little of him we're seeing in times where we need goals.
His style of play will thrive in the UCL. He could have caused them a lot of problemsI know he's been a little undercooked of late but I don't like how little of him we're seeing in times where we need goals.
It's a double edged sword really because he's struggled to perform the role exactly like Ødegaard has done at his best so I don't think it's a guarantee that he'd have played well but just on the off chance that he is in a good shooting position, I trust him to do the needful more than most players in the squad (fit or otherwise).I think he could have done something if given more time. Nwaneri is a player that needs freedom to express himself. And he is talented enough to get that freedom. Let Havertz and Rice do the running around, Ødegaard even loves to run around a lot lol. It's a double edged sword really because he's struggled to perform the role exactly like Ødegaard has done at his best so I don't think it's a guarantee that he'd have played well but just on the off chance that he is in a good shooting position, I trust him to do the needful more than most players in the squad (fit or otherwise).
I just think the roles are starting to become a little too rigid for an Arteta team.
I feel like he's gonna have to earn that freedom. A solid pre-season where his conditioning and off-the-ball movement improves significantly will see to that.Nwaneri is a player that needs freedom to express himself.
