I'm gonna take pelters for this but fuvk it. Ethan Nwaneri is just as good as Desire Doue. Only Yamal stands above him.
These takes are all pretty futile. Nobody would've batted an eyelid at this statement a year ago but Doue's stock is soaring right now so yeah you'll get pelters. Young player's careers follow so many ups and downs though for reasons that don't have much to do with talent or ability.

Your career at Arsenal is over if you say anything that might upset the Great Leader so what did you expect?
Well according to you he'll not renew and he will leave anyway because arteta hates him, so why does he have to praise

And there's a difference between saying something positive for the sake of it and actually meaning it (he goes in detail, he could have just kept it short if it was the former)

Mods are unethical! Özil, come assist me please!
Why isn't he starting for England U21. Is this a joke? He is thr best attacking player England have and best stats too.

Instantly a fantastic dribling, but sadly the shot was blocked for a corner.

There are more experienced players. Most players starting are 22 years old
He should have the quality to be a star there anyways, no? If not, why have people been calling for him to start over Øde? If he won’t start over that lot in U21 he shouldn’t be near starting any of our games tbh

He does have the quality to be a star there. Lee Carsley is a ****ing moron man, I wouldn’t read too much into it.

I wouldn’t start him over Ødegaard either mind, don’t think he’s ready for that.

Did you see there was handbags at the end of the Spain game and the one player walking away from it all nonplussed was Nwaneri? I think thats just his personality but from the little I've heard about this tournament he is a bit on a periphery.

Anyway, hoping this coming season he adds a bit of "fight" as I wonder if his laid back personality gives him a bit of a disadvantage when fighting for a place.

Arsenal Quotes

The coach's role is to make the player understand everything that serves the interest of the game. To do this he must speak to the child within each player, to the adolescent he was and the adult he is now. Too often a coach tends only to speak to the adult, issuing commands for performance, for victory, for reflection, to the detriment of the child who is playing for pleasure, living in the present.
