There's no way anyone could want Sp**s to win after listening to that smug, fat **** Ange.
Well it was better than listening to Arteta try to rebuild his own ego by making up stories about what the PSG staff said to him after the match.

Whether or not Arsenal were tactically better or not, that was cringe to put that out there in a post match interview and reeked of wanting to show I am the better manager

No. We are Arsenal fans. Man United won the Europa League back in 2017 aswell but that didn't make them very relevant.

It reeked of trying to lift his players up, which is the only right thing to do in that moment.

I interpet it differently, more like i was the better manager tactically but my players inside the box are no good. Hence the result is outside my control.

How does it protect the players when he makes the point that they are not as good as Paris in the boxes? thats a crucial part of the game. Everyone is going to be harping on about forwards after the game.

All of you who want Man Utd to win are so Spursy. You're like those Tottenham fans who would rather lose than win, as long as it means Arsenal doesn't win. So what if Tottenham wins a title? They’re a small club that will never truly matter. Manchester, on the other hand, is so big that they will become relevant again sooner or later. If they qualify for the Champions League next season, that will happen much faster, as they'll be able to climb out of the financial mess they're in. With their name and status, they’ll be able to recruit much better players for next season and possibly beyond.
The banter from Sp**s and rival fans would be so unbearable. Sp**s with a EUROPEAN TROPHY before us???? We'll be laughing stocks

Eintracht game was more about the massive bottle job of the host team than any tactic by Sp**s. By far the worst performance in Europe in years yet still missed like four sitters in the return leg alone.
I blame you if Spuds win the Europa Final. Of all games to lose for Frankfurt ffs.

Lol - eintracht had more ball but shots on target, xG and other stats were quite similar, favouring Eintracht slightly. On the other hand, Spur dominated the draw at home.

Not a lot in the tie but Sp**s deserved to go through.

Thank God Yanited are definitely beating Sp**s in the final, as I would have hated to see @MartiSaka get banned...good kid he is 👍

Not a lot in the tie but to say Sp**s got dominated is completely False they deserved to go through.
I didn't say they got dominated though? I said Frankfurt missed sitter after sitter, I've watched the game I don't care what the xBollocks stat returned. Neither did they dominate the first leg either you're chatting wass plenty chances either side.

On account of how the team disgraced itself Frankfurt deserved to go out but Sp**s "deserve" to go through is a wild thing to post on an Arsenal forum especially when it's not even true. You do realise being Australian you don't have to back every Australian on earth regardless what they do?

I don't back every Australian at all - not even close.

But there is so much to respect about Ange - where he came from to get to the PL (Australia is a football backwater especially for coaches), the doubt/criticism he has faced every step of the way, the way he is brave in the way he plays and the number of trophies he has won playing that way (which you will dismiss it because its not the biggest European ones), the way he talks about football (a bit how I liked wenger in that regard) and the way he deals with the media. I am a massive fan of Bielsa also (equal with Ange) so its the type of manager I am drawn too I guess.

But as he is Tottenham coach, many will hate him whatever his attributes, so I could make the same statement back to you.

Absolutely no class in that. A total embarrassment.

The more I think about the final, the more certain I become that Tottenham will win. There are more flaws in the United squad and it feels like Ange is a slightly better manager than Amorim.

No Kulu, that's a big loss given Maddison is already out. They will lack some creativity there and Kulu generally smashes Utd.

You couldn't really though, I'm no snob about smaller football countries and I had no reason to like or hate him before joining Tottenham, you enjoy anyone failing there obviously but I don't hate Nuno either.

There's plenty factual to dislike about him anyway, his ridiculous appearance for one but he must be the most passive aggressive manager I've ever seen in press conferences. If you're telling me you admire his way of dealing with media I'm sorry but you're blatantly biased towards him lol.

The only two things you can come up with are his appearance and media interviews? You are showing bias. I generally don't judge men, especially men in their late 50s, based on their appearance, but I guess if that's important to you.

**** the media, the English media are generally a bunch of morons. Why answer their questions when most of them are stupid. He had them eating out of his hands early on, but yes, he loses his cool (its not even that passive aggressive) so what?

But I have a biased towards him because I do like and respect him; and yes he is a role model for Australian football and any region of the world that is considered a football backwater.

There is such a lack of nationality diversity in football management at the top level - can't think of any other managers coming out of Oceania, Asia, Middle east or Africa, who have been given a chance in top European leaugues.

And I am sure there are other managers that are worth a chance, but its almost impossible for them to get an opportunity. So yes, I respect that just to get this opportunity, he had to win at every club he went to for 20 years playing a fairly unique attacking style. What is there not to respect about that?

And where are the black coaches? make up such a large proportion of the playing squads but when it comes to coaching, its very sparse. I wonder why this is...... I think John Barnes might have made a point about this when he was coaching Celtic.

Mate that was clearly a joke about him being a fatso. You taking exception to that and writing half a paragraph shows you're biased. Which is fair enough but you're reasonable enough usually, you can't tell me you're not seeing this lol

And yes **** football media, the bellends at press conferences should never even be called journalists. However he's genuinely the only one manager I've ever seen that made me side with them lol. Seen so many instances where they've asked him perfectly reasonable even courteous questions and he starts barking at them in his passive aggressive tone. You said yourself late 50s but he's giving it the biggun even talking about punching people in the nose 😭

No he's not a role model in his behaviour. I remember reading about him back in the day when he was doing bits in Japan and I saw some similarities in him and Wenger even but ever since arriving in Europe he's been a prick let's be real.

Arsenal Quotes

One of the things I discovered in Japan was from watching sumo wrestling. At the end you can never tell who has won the fight, and who has lost, because they do not show their emotion because it could embarrass the loser. It is unbelievable. That is why I try to teach my team politeness. It is only here in England that everybody pokes their tongue out when they win.
