I could give him a finger. Or would I have to get on line?

If Barca splash the cash in Jan I will be livid. Well, more livid then I am for them pleading poverty and paying a buls*it amount for Fabregas and us accepting.

I hope we don't get mad, but get even. While Barca spend god knows how much on this flop called Neymar, they move even closer to pushing Gerard Deulofeu out of the club. 3mil buyout clause is it? Hope Wenger keeps an eye out for that in January.

"I feel very old. Two or three weeks ago, I went to Paris and saw two kids.

"I was with my friend and we were talking, and they didn't know I used to play for Arsenal!

"They never knew or saw videos, so I was upset and said I must be very, very old now!"

An awesome 1998-1999 Anelka compilation by mr.renoog on youtube. He really was a brilliant player, but ill-advised by his scumbag brother/agent. Went to Madrid and his career never really took off. Yes he did win things, but could have cemented himself as an Arsenal legend. By the way, he was asked about his decision a year or so ago and said this:

"Everyone makes mistakes in life and I can say that I made one in leaving Arsenal,"

"I could have spent my entire career at Arsenal. I took decisions thinking I was doing the right thing.

"If I had my time again I would do things differently.

Anelka was extremely talented as a youngster, should have done so much more in his career.

My favourite goal from that compilation was the one at Ewood Park in 98, Anelka's goal on the counter reminded me of the Brazilian Ronaldo.

Don't know why but i've always liked Anelka, even though he left us for Real and now plays for Chelsea.

Completely fascinating. The question about when was the last time 2 Englishmen scored in a single match for Arsenal has been answered. I thought Sol might be one of them, but I would never have guessed the other. I was thinking it might have been Ashley Cole. (Two defenders scoring? Might be rarer than two Englishmen, unless one is taking a penalty, a la Lee Dixon, or Lauren in the 5-4 win at Sp**s.)

Did you know William Shakespeare was a Gooner? He must have been, because only a man who has seen John Jensen and Nicklas Bendtner would write, "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark."

A few months there and he's already becoming one of them. Seriously I think Pep coaches them to hurl themselves at the ground writhing in pain over the slightest touch. It's pitiful.

I was stunned to see Fab writhing around like that.... It hasn't taken any time at all him to become one with the Barcelona cheating squad.... his face wasn't touched and he went down like a sack of potatoes.... Iniesta dive, Fabregas fall, Barcelona fail.

I wonder what Fab had said to Kanoute... maybe a Sp**s joke. As much as Kanoute should be disliked as a former Spur... I've always rated him as a player.

the Arsenal curse claims yet another victim. This time it's $amir Na$ri:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2059216/Samir-Nasri-suffers-knee-injury.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... njury.html</a>

Franch coach Laurent Blanc said: 'It is a tricky one that he picked up while playing for Arsenal.'

Apparently it's tendonitis, which if true is what Hargreaves had -- right? Especially if it's recurring, he might not be the same player again. Can't say I feel sorry for him though. Little bastard deserves it.

Wtf? I always had Cesc down as one of the most classiest guys in football despite his temperament.

Cesc? Classy? You're talking about the guy who wound up Mark Hughes, even if he did deserve it. The same guy who came onto the pitch against Hull City in a bomber jacket and jeans. The same guy who spat on Michael Ballack, even if the man himself denied it. Video was pretty conclusive, IMO. The same kid who through a pizza on Alex Ferguson. Cesc was always a ****, but he was our ****.
