My cousin was interviewing Mikael Silvestre on the BBC today, so I told him to ask a few questions for me. The first was to see who the best player he ever played with, to which he replied Ronaldo without a moments hesitation, despite the likes of C.Ronaldo, Henry and Zidane having been his team-mates. A somewhat easy and agreeable answer it has to be said. I also requested that he ask the difference between Ferguson and Wenger, but Silvestre being diplomatic said that they both lived for football, were very passionate and ended by saying that Arsenal will win a trophy this season. (For what it's worth, I was given the current Arsenal shirt as a present yesterday, my first since the one from 2004-05, so hopefully that's another good omen.) Lastly, his peanut head really is as big as it looks on TV.

His assist at 4:19 is what makes him truly special. The fact that he can set up a better placed team-mate in such a situation is remarkable. So often we've cursed an attacker for blindly going for goal and missing, when he could have ensured the goal by a pass.
