Has anyone been following the Club World Cup? News reports suggest that Gilberto played a role in helping Atletico Mineiro win the Copa Libertadoes to get them there. I hope he wins another trophy and beat Bayern on the way; he was one of our most loyal and classiest players we had in the last decade.

I still love the Premier League. I keep in touch with Tomas Rosicky and Bacary Sagna at Arsenal and keep an eye on what is generally happening in England. I expect to play for Croatia in Brazil and if I have a good World Cup, who knows what that could lead to?

if you follow him on twitter, seemingly all he talks about/retweets are Arsenal supporters saying how he should come back to Arsenal.

It's unfortunate that he's no longer the same player. Seems to genuinely want to play for us again.

One of my best memories from the Emirates is being in the north bank the night he returned and being part of the crowd that stood up and applauded him when he scored against us.

Looks like the lesbian cant keep us off his mind.

Say that when I went to join Carlos Tevez, David Silva, Yaya Toure, Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany ... I made a choice about life, I believed in the project, a sports project on the exceptional long term, with a training centre that will be built soon."

Yeah 'cause what we were building was not for the "long term"? Our facilities weren't ready yet when you were here also, right? Guy is an idiot.

Striker Robin van Persie has given his backing to David Moyes as the Manchester United boss looks to address the club's stop-start season.
Moyes, in his first season in charge, has guided the Premier League champions to the last 16 of the Champions League as well as the League Cup semi-finals.
But they lie seventh in the league and are out of the FA Cup.
"Moyes needs time, he's new," said Van Persie. "The manager is our leading man and he will change things around."
Van Persie, who has been sidelined for a month with a thigh problem, is confident United's fortunes will improve "sooner rather than later".
"We lost too many points this year, but we are doing everything we can to change that," said the 30-year-old Dutchman.
Van Persie, a £24m signing from Arsenal in August 2012, was a key figure for United last season, scoring 30 goals in all competitions as they claimed a 13th Premier League title.
It was the last of 38 trophies for Sir Alex Ferguson as United manager before stepping down at the end of the season.
In contrast, Moyes arrived from Everton without a top-level trophy as manager, although that soon changed when United beat FA Cup winners Wigan to lift the Community Shield on 11 August.
Van Persie says Moyes was surprised when the United players refused to get too carried away following that 2-0 success at Wembley.
"We are used to winning," said Van Persie. "If you win, it's a normal day at the office. After the Community Shield win, none of the players really celebrated, or played music, as it was the way things were."

We are used to winning?? you've been there 1 season you mug! Better get used to losing now eh!

And the fact that he's referencing the charity shield shows how desperate he is to drive home the point that he made the right choice. What a grade A ****.

Thierry Henry on the Graham Norton show:

"The thing is I have so much respect for Arsène, and if it does happen eventually, one day, it is going to have to be after him.

"I don’t actually want to talk about it right now because he is doing such a great job, but hopefully after him, yes.”

How many of our past players want to be our next manager

GDeep™

League is very weak
None of our former players are in any position, yet, to be credible candidates for Wenger replacements, Bould too.

You'll have to prove yourselves at two clubs at least before I consider them for the top job here - something, say, similar to what Roberto Martinez is currently doing.

Thanks but no thanks, Titi.
