Barazite is definitely a very talented player, but is more injury prone than RVP and Gibbs put together. If he can sort that out he'll definitely make it at another big club.

“When I saw the [City] fans had tattoos and were passionate, I thought, 'That’s what I want.'"

Oh, you like it when fans have tattoos, Nasri? Then why didn't you sign with West Ham? Or Millwall? How about Chelsea -- they have money! And their fans have tattoos. Granted, some of them say "BNP" or "NF"...

Flamini injures himself trying to keep up with Pasquato's dribbling:

According to some AC Milan forums, he tore a knee ligament (cruciate apparently) and will be out for up to 8 months because of it. I guess that's the end of his AC Milan career then? They were trying to offload him last season but nobody wanted to match his 80k per week wages. Now his contract is up by next summer and he's out for the season?

EDIT: Woah, AC Milan fans don't like him very much  , check out this quote on one of their forums:

"Flamini serves no purpose to this team. he can take his effort and gtfo because he will always remain a headless chicken. maybe now that he is gone for 6 months , maybe we can buy a midfielder who can add something to the team or a someone from the primavera can be given chances. Our midfield can only go forward from here. hopefully we will get rid of his mediocre ass sooner rather than later."

ROFL!!! Flamoney's career has been an almighty flop since leaving, Pleb has more or less disappeared off the face of the Earth, Adebuywhore has been equally mediocre since leaving but may find some success with the Spuds.

Gotta say, I'm hoping Cashmir's career follows a similar trajectory. Just for the lulz.

What's going on with Hleb? Says on Wikipedia he's still a Barca player...does he even train with them?

Why stop there? Say it about Casc Fabregas.

Let's see...

Hleb: 2 years of ****, 1 good season. Forces a move

Flamini: 3 years of ****, 1 good season. Leaves on a free

Adebayor: 2 years of ****, 1 good season. Gets unsettled and tries to leave, sold to City.

Nasri: 2 years of ****, 1 good season. Forces a move

Fabregas: 8 world class seasons, captain, always said he was going back to Barca someday and left with nothing but kind words.

No way can we compare Cesc to those clowns.

Yes we can. He punked out. He abandoned the club that made him "world class" for a bunch of bastards who wouldn't give two ****s about him if he were from Marseille or Milan.

He 'abandoned us' after 8 years of giving everything he had, while watching his childhood friends lap up every trophy under the sun. He tore hamstrings and broke his leg trying to drag us to glory, and what does he get for his troubles? Not even a single carling cup. Then he had an entire media campaign dedicated to bringing him back, from his hometown to Barcelona proper.

If it wasn't Barcelona he would have retired here. He was in a no win situation and would have regretted either decision for the rest of his life. Even in his interview he said it was bittersweet, because his biggest regret in football will be never being able to lift a trophy as Arsenal captain.

Nah, I'm with Viper on this one. Fabregas is still a classy man both on and off the pitch, as with Henry. Classy players who genuinely only went for trophies - it's our fault we couldn't provide them with enough trophies to make them want to stay.

8 years, Mike. 1 Third of his life he spent here without winning anything. Would be an insult to all he's done to compare him to those moneygrabbing clowns who only had 1 good season with us then left for the highest wage packet.

That's the point: To insult him. He deserves it.

He had these choices:

1. Tell Barcelona, "Back off, I'm with Arsenal for the length of my contract."

2. Tell Wenger, "I just spent a World Cup with a lot of these guys. Let me go back. You can use the money to get 3 players who can contribute what I can." In other words, end this a year ago before it got ugly.

3. Tell Wenger, "I'm going back to Barcelona, and if you don't let me, I'm gonna use my Barcelona mates to undermine you in the media and make you look like a fool until you sell me for a lot less than you think I'm worth. I don't care if it takes one year, or the entire length of the contract until they can sign me on a free. I can do this because I'm Barcelona 'til I die -- no matter what those mugs in the stands sing about me being 'Arsenal through and through' and letting me shag their wives."

1. would have been the right thing to do. 2. would have been unpleasant, but there still would have been honor to it. Instead, he chose 3.

He is worth the insults.
