Now I think we'd probably say yes at £ 50 million. Mostly because the window has become what it's become.
The question to me is rather what our policy is when you leave it late in the window.

I think we might have 3/4 CBs and looking to whatever the best deal could be. Maybe they thought they could get Romero cheaper than Konza.

Trying to get value is fine but putting in bids of £30-40m just seems pointless to me unless Konsa forces the issue with Villa, which I don't think is likely.

Realistically we're probably going to have to pay around the £50m mark to get it done.

No matter what people say or want to believe, Konsa is not worth only £30m in this market. It’s in fact a bit of an insult from Berta to bid that.

I get he’s not a £60m man but unfortunately in today’s Premier League if you want to sign an English international CB who is part of the furniture for a CL team, you’re kinda crazy to expect anything less than the £45m mark, and it’ll probably higher.

I think people seem to forget this isn’t Career Mode, you don’t just approach to sign a player, pay fair value for them plus or minus 5%, and secure him. We are trying to take this teams starting CB.
