Was on Vinai's payroll; misses 4th place trophy 🏆
Really gonna be forced to use one of Gabriel or Saliba here Portsmouth are in relegation battle in championship of course they'll play this like some cup final because its rare they face big English team these days even with heavy rotation the quality of team should be enough

It would be nice if we can use Salmon at CB with Saliba or Gabriel holding his hand.

If Kai is available, should Arteta give him game time to build match fitness?
Or the minutes goes to Jesus (same reason) or Gyokeres to build his confidence?

Headache for Arteta.

I think Ethan will sadly miss out on a starting berth. If even Eze is struggling for minutes, Ethan will probably be lucky to get a 20 minute run out. I hope I'm wrong because he should 100% be starting this game. Hasn't even made the squad last couple weeks.

That would be the good thing to do, but Arteta is Mr Risk-Averse, so it'll be business as usual. At most, I could see Salmon playing RB as he's basically the prototypical Arteta full-back (a CB who can defend wide) but that'll probably be Ben White's role.

We'll go pretty strong IMO, I don't see us doing much rotating nor do I see any academy players getting a run. I'd like to see Andre Harriman-Annous return to the squad but I think that's highly unlikely given Havertz and Jesus are both training.

I would go Gyokeres to start and Kai to come on for him later. Hopefully get Gyok a goal or 2 for his confidence. I don't think Jesus needs to be playing every 3 days even if it's not full 90s.

Front 4 to move around and switch with each other.

No issues with that team, really hope Havertz is fit enough for the bench, 30m run out be ideal.

Portsmouth are fighting for championship survival and have a few injuries so I'm sure they will also be having selection thoughts. Have a good mate from Portsmouth, lots forward injuries he tells me.

Doubt it. If they are smart Portsmouth will heavily rotate. Getting relegated would be a disaster for them.

Portsmouth as you guys will see Sunday, brilliant fanbase very passionate, noisy but fair.

Invincibles season a forgotten story (look it up chaps) 1-1 away ft at Portsmouth Jose Reyes RIP saves us from defeat. Final whistle and during game TH14 chants THE WHOLE GROUND H and A fans in unison!

FT swaps shirts with Lua Lua, shirt on and again place goes mental, never, ever seen a player that has never played for the club previously serenaded like that, was fantastic.

The great man himself interviewed after was truly humbled.

Will be interesting to see if Kepa gets the GK nod for FA Cup. I think he should be getting all FA + Carabao cup games.

Agree with this line up. I really hope we can have Havertz on the bench and potentially getting some minutes.

Yeah, Kepa has to start. You can't justify having a good back up keeper if you're not going to give him both domestic cups.

He should play at least one of our remaining CL fixtures too.

Arsenal Quotes

In 1997/98 we became English champions as I had set myself three missions to carry out which I felt were essential. One: to have an impact on the result and the team's playing style. Two: to foster the player's individual development. Three: to strengthen the structure of the club and enhance its global influence.
