Yeah when they hired Ismael I thought they were done tbh but he’s turned them around massively.

Had them for relegation but they’re comfortably mid table and they’ve got a well drilled press.

I don't know anything about Barnsley or their coach, tbh. I don't watch championship footy. But I'll remember his name, and I'll be interested to see how he does in future.

He won the title as a player with Werder Bremen as a player and then moved to Bayern I think. Wasn’t he alright @Toby Andrl ?

Not much of a managerial career though so far. Bounced around some random European spots.

Yeah I remember him, I think Bayern nicked him after the Werder title win, standard Bayern tactic.

Micoud creating with Ailton banging them in, was great when you'd get different teams winning Bundesliga now and again.

Yeah I actually watched them a bit on Eurosport when I was a kid because these random teams winning was fun.

Same with Wolfsburg a few years later. That Dzeko and Grafite link up was deadly.

Eurosport was great for world football back then, I liked the side with Diego and Özil a few years later as well.
