Basically, ronaldos diving won them the match not for the first time this season. 2 dives resulting in 2 goals. its about time referees started wising up to this sort of behaviour as its becoming quite ridiculous now. And that linesman the ref spoke to about the fernandes handball incident-he absolutely bottled it! His face was a picture.

tbh..we've gone over this many a time.We all know how few times refs give the away-sides any penalties.and perhaps the 67,000 does play a huge part but that's just a part of football right now.But what about the penalty appeals(for both sides) yesterday,That itself proved that this "help from refs" isn't all that what everyone claims to be.

Hmmmmmmmm, United have been very, very fortunate in the last ten years. I completely agree you should have had a penalty, but so should Southampton- also there seemed to be a handball as the ball went to RVN who was offside as the free kick came in for the winning goal. No?
I can think of three penalties given against Arsenal over the last three seasons, Boro last month, Liverpool last season, Sperz 2002. It's amazing that in that time, there's only been one at OT.

Pires, and Owen draw a tackle before going down. This is crap but sadly this import is growing throughout the game.
