Fantasy Games with a Draft

Question for the experts,

has anyone come across an EPL fantasy game that contains a draft for selection of your player? They had a system on a website about five years ago, where an online auction took place for each private league. Over the course of two nights, managers bidded for players and every player could only represent one side. There was a transfer market that opened after the drafting had been completed, containing any unwanted players, etc.

From what i am aware, there don't seem to be any similar systems out there anymore? I was a fantastic idea, as you actually had to research the upcoming season and sign bargain players that you expected to prosper.

Would be a fun thing to implement with members of this forum!

Yeah just worked it out then.

Was hoping that there was a site someone knew of that had a system set up for this. I found one, however the sign up fees are excessive and i doubt anyone would agree to them.

New draft going on if anyone's interested.

The criteria for this draft is:

A 90-00 draft but with a twist, say before each pick a league is randomly selected and you have to pick your player based on that league.

So its based on EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Other, so pick from a league other than those ones such as Eredivise, Portuguese league, Turkish league etc. Read the forum and look through the current draft that's being voted on and it's pretty self explanatory, any questions just join the IRC chat channel and Me, Shue, Nuts or any others will explain.

Sure thing, what we usually do is stick first time players with a partner, just in case they bail.

Hop on over and register, we're still a few short.

With a bit of luck we'll start next weekend, but things can happen quite quickly once the lineup is filled.
