Probably Alexis for me as well.
Though instances where the club actually went and got the player I wish listed are special to me. Happened with Gabriel, Partey, and Calafiori. Gabriel has been a massive hit, Partey has been okay but turned injury prone after joining us, jury is out on Cala.

We'd have won the league already had we signed the players I wanted. I wanted Isak before we got Jesus. I wanted Mac Allister, Paqueta, and Bruno G when they were available, Kudus before he went to West Ham etc.Please stop wishlisting players.

He was around 13m, dirt cheap for his quality and still one of our record transfers for ages. Until Özil in 2013 we never spent more than 15m on any player, we still somehow competed with United who bought Ferdinand for 50m in 2002.

On that one to be fair Arteta sucked the life out of it in the opening few years, wasn’t even really enjoyable it was constant anxiety that he’d get rid of the lad to play Holding.
