Though instances where the club actually went and got the player I wish listed are special to me. Happened with Gabriel, Partey, and Calafiori. Gabriel has been a massive hit, Partey has been okay but turned injury prone after joining us, jury is out on Cala.

He was around 13m, dirt cheap for his quality and still one of our record transfers for ages. Until Özil in 2013 we never spent more than 15m on any player, we still somehow competed with United who bought Ferdinand for 50m in 2002.
