Santi Carzorla is one of my favourite players of all time, a classic Wenger signing, absolute genius on the ball, phenomonal player, I like Özil as well but for me it's Carzorla with Alexis Sanchez second.

Let’s just say even @Makingtrax might blush at your errm, “reverence” for our former manager ❤️
Ok let me clarify what I meant with visuals.

When we signed Sanchez, Arsène was balling it in Copacabana during Brazil World Cup in 2014 as D1ck Law closed the deal of Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal.
This is the image that reminds me of that day.

When we signed Özil, it was such a fantastic day, I explained it few times, but one visual that I connect that day with, is when I watching moments during this image while streaming SkySports in good ole Sopcast

It's definitely Cazorla...had some elite players, some even better than Santi...but overall Caz is the best.

Sagna a personal one for me too ngl, just loved him as soon as I seen him play...signed at pretty much the worst time for us too, but did all the hard yards and at least it finally ended in a trophy with the club in 2014.

That pic of Bac on his knees crying after trophy win in 2014 with Wenger kissing him on the forehead, is one of the best Arsenal pictures ever imo...and another example of how anyone who says the FA cup doesn't matter can go fu3k themselves to be honest.

It's Özil not only because he's my favourite signing in terms of watching him play. But you have to remember the context, for 7 years prior to that we were selling our best players every summer and barely replacing them. Cole left we looked internally to Clichy, Henry left we signed Eduardo, Adebayor left we signed no one to replace him, Fabregas and Nasri left we signed Arteta and Gervinho, Clichy left we promoted Gibbs, Van Persie left so we signed Giroud. When you consider all this, consider that we had never spent above £16 million prior to this.

To go out and sign a world class superstar from Real Madrid, where he played a key part in one of the all time great sides, for such a massive free on deadline, it felt like a seismic change in our policies regarding transfers. It was just not a signing we were making. Even prior to the Emirates move we were rarely taking an already world class talent.

Alexis and Cazorla were very exciting for me at the time

Özil obviously up there too but I remember wanting Di Maria more lol - I felt we had enough creativity with Cazorla/Wilshere/ Ramsey/ Rosicky and that we needed a winger more

The crock duo Cazorla and Rosicky were my favourites to watch, oh the things we could have won if they didn't have bodies made of paper mache.

Outside of that Özil was probably the most excited I've ever been for a signing and that feeling has never again been replicated, it was proper euphoric seeing his announcement on deadline day.

In hindsight the Özil transfer showed how small time we became judging by how Arsenal fans were behaving.

Yeah, the whole promise of the Emirates move was that we would be able to compete with the likes of Real Madrid and Man united for top signings like that, 10 years later we got the first taste and that left everyone rabid, ultimately that promise never came to fruition though.

Sanchez was such a great signing, that he went to Man Utd and it enhanced his legacy cause he stunk the place up.

Aubameyang second, Özil third.

If only we had that front three ffs.
