Well I, for one, am happy. Wasn't expecting us to have secretly smuggled in and unveiled David Villa tbh. That's only next month.

There were some rumours it was just Gibbs signing a new deal, so it's great to see long-term deals being given.

I'm not sure giving Ramsey a pay-rise was the best idea, but he's still very young and has been recovering physically and emotionally - he just needs to slowly regain his confidence back.

I do love the British core though, it'll be a few years before we see Jenkinson starting more frequently, but players like Gibbs, Wilshere and Ox are first team players or definitely will be in the future.

Fair play to them but we are hardly tieing down world class players here its all potential which is being amply rewarded. glad we have them tied down but seriosuly while we have let players slide like RvP and Theo then all this seems a bit hollow asa celebration of us holding a core together and being great on contracts.
