Foden is worst player of year in Pl history? What does that say about the league and football?

Foden is at best the 4th best player in the City set up. At the same time he has 3 goals in over 40 matches for England. Trophies don’t count to determine how good an individual player is but conversely the best players always win things. But Foden is like George Harrison at best in the Beatles, plus City cheats. He can’t carry the jock of players like Shearer, Henry, Ronaldo. i think if you put Saka at City he does better than Foden statistically.

The bigger picture, post covid football is in the dumps. English football is also wildly overrated. For less money La Liga is a much more decorated league in Europe and plays much more technical players. Spain was missing Pedri, missing Gabi, missing Rodri at end of final and no one could tell. Lot of questions about what Pl teams are buying and how they develop talent despite all the money nothing has changed that Pl and England produce technically mid level players

Two goals and three assists, all in decisive moments vs 0 goals 0 assists 0 influence on the game.

England lost the Euros, it's okay bro you can snap out of your EDL BNP phase and return to normal.
Fine margins though. Wind blows a little differently and him hitting the post twice becomes two goals. Similar with his offside goal.

All superseeded by the fact England were not a good team. Yamal is great but he also played in a great team.

International competitions can make or break a legacy but they don't make or break the player imo.

Football is always fine margins. Yamal himself had a couple mazy dribbles and attempts barely saved that would've made any highlight reel, imagine if those had gone in people would gas him different.

Yes football is largely dumb luck but there's a reason it happened for one guy and didn't for the other. The Moroccan yute is HIM while the Sam Smith cosplayer ain't SHÏT.

But then when we mention how they do for the clubs you guys just come up with reasons to discount that.

So question is, what would he have to do this season for City to get you to rate him because the way I see it, if 39GA for the season without penalties isn't enough then nothing ever will be?

Arsenal Quotes

Thierry Henry was very quick at analysing everything that was going on and how he needed to react. This intelligence, this capacity to evaluate, understand and question oneself, is also the mark of great players... For everyone, for the fans and for us, he symbolised the golden age of Arsenal.
