Not sure he ever really wanted to stay - prob just said that so he can get soem minutes &' get his signing on fee up somewhere else. Looks like we offered him a good deal & there's an opportunity for him to get games next season but he still doesnt want to sign.

Big clubs lose young talents all the time, the ones we lose get overblown as our recruitment has been shoddy the last 5 years so it highlights it more. City lost Sancho, Sp**s lost Noni Maduieke, sometimes you can offer these guys a good deal but they dont want to stay. Cant blame the club on this one like you could we say Donyell malen or jeff reine adeleide.

Thoroughly meaningless bump, they're just quoting Arteta's typical diplomatic waffle from his press conference. Remember the last time Arteta said Balogun wanted to stay reports came out that he was close to signing a pre-contract with a club in Germany. Don't believe the hype.
Ffs stop listening to those reports. Balogun is not eligible to sign a pre-contract. He’ll extend or sign with a new club in July

SIUUUUUUUUUUU

Balogun is playing for the U-23s tonight, so almost certainly won't be playing for us in the FA cup tomorrow even though it's a hectic schedule and S'ton are missing a swathe of key players. Doesn't seem like the actions of a club desperately trying to keep a player.

Difficult to be giving players with uncertain futures a chance to play.

A source close to Balogon's contract renewal negotiations for #جرس_أرسنال : "The player is open to staying. This option is still on the table despite the interest of a large number of clubs. Negotiations are still going on, and the player imagines staying in the club if the club decides to meet his demands. We will see what results in the coming days."

Knife-edge.

He's scored a brace tonight and is on a hattrick for the U23s btw.

Update: Balogun scored a hattrick with Azeez and Moller getting one a piece as we put 5 past Brighton under 23s.

Just meet his demands and send him on loan for the next season to play week in week out

I don't get this wage demands issue. In the current climate I doubt he could get a better financial bigger offer than arsenal. If he signs a contract with us and does well we'll simply offer him a new one (i.em if he scores 15 senior goals in a season). He'll then be on even better money.

Really don't get the hold up with the lad, just sign the contract and work your way in to the first team. If he scores 20 in a season he'll be on £100k in no time.
