Will anyone else be buying this? Im currently playing in the beta version testing for them and its shaping up fantastically.

The concept is great.I like how you get a set budget and all players start as free agents. You create your own team from scratch on this budget so all are relatively on even ground at first. Then you go into a qualifying league to work out which league in your federation you start in.(I.e 1-4th place = premier....5-8th of each qualifying league go to championship) and so on.Federations are selected by your playing times.I.e evening and weekend players in the primetime federation.Late night players in the moonlight football association.

Very promising so far.Hard to get big names to start with.My biggest name player so far is mathieu bodmer.

Seasons happen over 4 weeks.

Will there be a monthly fee to play?

Almost certainly. I heard about this few years ago, and its great to hear it coming together now, if its at reasonable monthly fee and if the community is strong that I will almost definitely subscribe.

Do you ha ve to be online during your matches?

Or can you make like scripts so at 60 minute if winning by 2 sub x player for y player otherwise sub w player for z player and that sort of stuff?

will this make it to Australia?

Ide be willing to play at least 1 month of it no matter the fee to see if its worth it. Normally games like this would come with a month included anyway.

You dont have to be online, but in the beta you build up holiday time that you can use etc...

The system so far gives you a fixture resolution date and you must resolve them by that time with your opponents. If it goes on past that date you have 24 hours to play the opponents team which will be controlled by AI.

Who plays whos AI is dependant on who is online closer to the time its due to be played.

There are many things to be ironed out but so far the game is looking strong.Sports interactive are taking great care in listening to us beta guys also to make it as fine tuned as possible when it comes out.
There were early problems with players profiting heavily from hosting solo competitions at the beginning, and based on our feedback its already been fixed that the host only makes profit if he wins, not just for hosting, and pays the same entry fee's as all others.

Scripts dont seem to be a possibility as they encourage players to be present for their fixture. They are looking at ways to deal with lack of activity ..i.e a manager not logging on for 3 weeks. But this isnt likely to be a major problem since most are paying subscription and since this is just the beta, many signed up then didnt do the job, without any cost to them etc...

Australia are certain to get it.Since i am playing beta guys from NZ...Aus, malaysia etc and they even have their own forums for chinese. Its hugely multinational, making it even more suprising when you join games against croatians, ecuadorians, romanians etc and they all begin by saying "good luck mate!"

Really enjoying it so far.You can unearth some true gems as regens are rapid, since 4 weeks = 1 season, new players pop up frequently. So its a true test of managerial skills.

Quick update. They have sent us all a warning mail of a coming game update.

This includes a skills feature of some sort. For those who have ever played an mmo type game its a bit like a class division.

Each manager can specialise by going down one varied path and developing your mangement style.

I.e some will have coaching as their style. With player showing increased development and tactical awareness. Some may go the physio route, and under their management the club become better at dealing with fitness and injury. Some will be focused more on the ability to have a mroe detailed scouting system and the ability to judge players having slight advantages, whilst others are financially more savvy.Taking each route has been touted to be flexible down the line, with SI stating that they are hoping that it will result in no 2 managers being exactly the same in these areas.
