Hudson-Odoi, Murphy, Minteh, Rogers and Bobb could be options. If you go Murphy instead of Gordon other options become available. I'm kind of running into the issue of wanting Smith-Rowe and Muniz as my favorite third striker. Think the double up is too much, though, so now considering Pedro or switching Smith-Rowe to Murphy for the first few games and then on to Minteh in GW4.

I'm now thinking I really dont want to miss out on Saka, which makes the puzzle even more difficult.

Gvardiol - Ødegaard - Eze
Or
Gvardiol - Saka - Elliot (alrdy have Hudson-Odoi)
Or
Konsa - Saka - Eze

Kind of like going the last one, will have no premium defenders then, though. Only 4,5m and 1 4m. Middle one I like the best if there's strong indication Elliot will be a starter.

No Haaland would make everything a lot easier.
I am really wondering whether Eze is getting over rated here. I owned Eze a lot last season and think he is a great player but his current ownership seems too high for what he potentially offers. 7m is not really cheap either and there are questions w.r.t transfers which could complicate matters w.r.t him.
I think I will go for either Salah or Haaland( And not both) and I am in a quandary since I think Haaland is a better pick among the two but the Salah draft looks much better overall.

The guy is good when he plays and then disappears with minor injuries for weeks at a time.

Also a bit streaky return wise.

There’s better options out there. Garnacho might explode this year imo.

I thought of putting Nketiah in anticipating him moving to Bournemouth. But he is already 6 million as arsenal player. That surprised me. I was expecting 5 million and his value to rise during the season

I'm currently back to a Salah draft. Am strongly considering De Bruyne as City cover. One thing I'm thinking about is booking in a transfer by starting with Son and then switching to De Bruyne in GW2 for a very aggressive start. However, KDB might just as well return against a leaky Chelsea.

I just can't settle on a team. I don't much like Soucek in my starting line-up but a £5mil midfielder is the only way to accommodate the rest of that attacking line-up.

I'm really debating taking Erling out for Watkins to give me better options elsewhere.

You could go Bobb or Diallo for 5 as well or downgrade Saliba to 5.5 and get Minteh for 5.5 in midfield?

I've downgraded Solanke to Joao Pedro and upgraded Soucek to Jota.

Can safely say this won't be the final iteration ahead of Friday night's KO 😂

Not bad moves either!

Morgan Roberts from Villa is apparently a good option at 5 too in case you decide to revert back to Solanke

Agree with you on Garnacho, There is Jota as well who always scores regularly when he plays.
My current team. Definitely have my Arsenal tinted glasses on considering our first 5 fixtures though

Frankly I think Chelsea should be considered a good fixture from opposition attack POV if the attack is among the top 10 in PL.

I just entered a cash league with my brother in law and his friends. On Crete with crappy hotel wifi and yet to sort a team. Haven’t checked anything for this year. Any suggestions to help a poor man out?

Pretty solid team… I’ve gone with a couple of gambles in mine as I’d like Jota but feel like Palmer is “probably” the safer bet.

Putting the final touches to my FPL team. It’s either Haaland or Salah hmmmm

I’m a little tempted to not put either in there 😂

I have Ben White as a right back again this season, (had him all of last season). Got a central midfield of Phil Foden, and Cole Palmer, (hopefully a few goals from that area). Up front, Solanke and Watkins. I have gone with Eddie Nketiah on the bench, could do well, if he goes to (linked with) Everton, Crystal Palace, and AFC Bournemouth.

I fear my defense may be weak, l will see how that goes.
Not intentional, I have an all English midfield and strikers.

Arsenal Quotes

Robert Pirès was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
