I went from 3rd to 41st smh.

got all my stocks on Salah as captain tomorrow and TAA in there too. Messed up with swapping Pedro Porro for Dias, thought Porro was ruled out.

Yeah I was close to transferring Porro out

I’m gonna transfer Haaland out I think just before we play them. I mainly wanted him in just for this game against Ipswich

Now that you can roll 5 transfers and that if you can just stay patient for a bit then you can make some big moves based on fixture swings, it’s a different kinda game.

Tbf that sounds like a good idea. City have Arsenal (h) and Newcastle (a) back to back, so transferring him out seems like a decent shout. As much as I would love to select him at some point, I think at this stage it just doesn’t make any sense unless I use the wildcard to reshuffle my team. Get him in after the Villa away game imo they’ve got a long easy run after that

Just looking at their fixtures actually they have like clumps of horrid ones. Chelsea Arsenal Newcastle Liverpool Tottenham back to back in Feb this title challenge is gonna be wild

My Captain Ben White, has had two good weeks. The others, not so much. Ollie Watkins had two golden opportunities to score against Arsenal yesterday. (In a way, just as well he had not taken those opportunities). Gibbs - White scored for me yesterday, though he was on the bench in my Fantasy team.

Havertz(8) + Watkins(9) + Solanke(10.5) = 45 goals for 24.5 points
Use my 7 point advantage to upgrade my cheapest player to Palmer
Havertz(8) + Watkins(9) + Solanke(7.5) + Palmer(10.5) = 60 goals for 35 points
With captain = 75 goals for 35 points
Estimated assists 40 -> = equivalent to 25 goals
100 goals for 35 points = 0.35 points per goal

VS

Haaland(15) + Salah(12.5) + cheapest sub player(4) = 50 goals for 31.5 points.
With captain = 75 goals for 31 points
Estimated assists 20 -> = equivalent to 13 goals
88 goals for 31 points = 0.42 points per goal

I only had Barco out of those (I mean dude… you went IN on the risk…) and just transferred him out for that Villa kid that came on for Cash who is out for a month. Good chance he starts for Villa for what looks like at least 3 easy fixtures.

Haaland could be 20M and I'd still have him in the team. Too much of a threat.

My line of thinking before the season is serving me well so far.
