My modus operandi for this season is simplicity and consistency. Not overthinking it, just bring Haaland, Salah, and Saka into the team no matter the price, keep the captaincy on Haaland unless he's injured, don't give a **** about the bench, and profit.

Hopefully I don't forget to replace injured players and go off the rails down the stretch like I always do this time.

@Wagwaan incredible going in to the top 10k globally 👏 👏

I just want to say though, @Riou is campaigning to make not having ANY Arsenal players in your fpl team a bannable offence…

Thank you, It feels so wrong but there is method in the madness, I like to target fixtures and with Liverpool's and 115 FC's fixtures being kinder than our own I went that route.

After the City game, I plan a wildcard with most likely Salah making budget room for the Raya, Saka & Havertz tandem.

Triggered the wild card because I'm bleeding value and already had some issues to fix. Only thing I didnt want to do was drop Isak, but he's expected to drop in price and I already had Nkunku take 0.3mil.

Went with the Salah+Saka+Haaland route. Team looks good. Wish I could fit in Palmer for the two tough Arsenal fixtures, but couldnt make it work (would be with that .3...)

Its been a bit strange FPL so far with almost too many people delivering. I actually really like my team and have good good outcomes from almost every player in the team but not having Salah has still cost me.
I of course had a couple of bad picks in the beggining with Nkunku,Quansah and Hall but i have quickly moved on from Nkunku and Quansah and can move from Hall to TAA with a hit this week.

I am still unsure that its worth an early wildcard for me. I want to bring in Salah but I wonder whether most people are over reacting to a small sample size of games. Even Haaland and Salah are only likely to get around 6pts per game on an average in the long run and I am not sure I need to replace a team which is mostly working fine just to fix 1-2 issues.
I have already succumbed to the over reaction bug though and made an early transfer from Isak to Joao Pedro earlier this week "to protect value".

The big dilemma for me is whether to keep Watkins or ditch him and Kudus to incorporate Palmer into the team. Villa have good fixtures coming up, though, so probably better to stay the course.

Might also replace Saka with Palmer for the difficult fixtures ahead.

I would definitely keep Watkins. Has great fixtures and is getting a lot of chances.
I would also not go from Saka to Palmer. I don`t think Sp**s is a crazy tough fixture from attack pov and after city game, we have some great fixtures. Chelsea`s next fixture is Bournemouth away which is not that easy. Also, Chelsea seem to always concede goals which means no clean sheet points and reduced probability of bonus points. Palmer is still a great player to have but I think Saka is better.

My long term plan was always to wildcard after the city/arse game and get rid of one of Haaland or Salah. Just don’t think both is the right call over the season.

Do people think Salah can keep this up ? Not sure what to do anymore…

I have just gone from Isak to Watkins, with Watkins dropping in price and Isak likely to follow suit it seemed an opportunistic transfer.

Watkins has been getting chances, and with good fixtures on paper i back him to get some points returns sooner rather than later.

My long term plan was also a wildcard after the city game, with initially Salah making room for Saka and others.

But his form has made me question if it's the right thing to do, but on the other side, I agree that having Salah & Haaland doesn't seem the most efficient long term solution. Probably going to bin Salah and hope for the best.

Keep Salah until the Chelsea game at least and then make a decision? Chelsea, Arsenal, Brighton, Villa is a tricky run but up to there i think they've a good run of games.

For the people that have wild carded in the international break, i'm very interested to know what you've done? (gotta put Lewis in right?)

Yes, I triggered it early to catch the price ride of Salah and took Lewis to catch that one too. Hoping for another one to claw back some value lost. Not sure het whether to keep him, though. Dunk has the better next two fixtures, though.

Pretend like I know what I'm on about 😅

I ended up benching Gabi :(. Quite a poor GW except for Haaland, Saka and ESR. Sounds like most people have had a poor week so may not be a bad time for this.
With the kind of team I currently have, GW 4 and 5 would have been the toughest anyways. If I manage to get through GW5 with even average scores, I would be in a good place because I already have a good team for GW 6 onwards. My only issues are Jota who seems to be getting subbed off too early and goalkeeper Henderson. I can keep the keep the WC for later which could help me.

A slow start for me this season, (a bit like last season). Last matchday, I did get my Highest Points, 70.
I have Eddie Nketiah and Ollie Watkins up front. I have dropped Dominic Solanke to the bench. I have £1.1 million in the Transfer Bank. Solanke is worth £7.5 million. For next weekend, I think I will sell him, and sign Kai Havertz. Currently have two Arsenal players, Ben White, and Saka. 🟥⬜
I recently signed Fulham's Emile Smith Rowe. Think he could do well for them. ⬜⬛

I planned to get Havertz in after the Man city game before the Ødegaard injury, but it now looks like Havertz is playing a bit deeper to help out midfield more.

Arsenal Quotes

When I first came to Arsenal, I realised the back four were all university graduates in the art of defending. As for Tony Adams, I consider him to be a doctor of defence. He is simply outstanding.
