I reckon they'll struggle to get out of the group stages. They'll get picked apart by the bigger clubs this summer, lose their team cohesion and struggle. Tielemans is not in any way a sure thing, has only played football in a terrible league.

Agree.
Apparently Monaco is chasing Mahrez to replace Silva. Not a bad pick either.
To bring in Tielemans and likely Mahrez even before June, that is impressive.
They are going to be competitive next season in the CL.
Where is Silva meant to be going? Probably my favourite player from that team.

Bookies slashed his odd of joining City today to 1/4 from 8/1. By no means an indicator that is done but it's still a noticeable shift.
Damn guess they must have heard something then. Would be nice to have him in the league but hurts to see our rivals always getting these top class guys.

Nope. AS Monaco will be fine. They are selling and recruiting intelligently.
They have a great core of players. Glik, JJemerson, Mbappe, Lemar, Falcao are all staying. They have excellent youngsters like Jorge or Almany Toure ready to take over, if Mendy and Sidibe leave.
.They are bringing top young talent, like Tielemans, Meite or Jordy Gaspar. Mahrez may come to replace Silva.
The only question mark is Jardim. If he stays they are in great shape for next season.

He is signing at City for over 70 M Euros. Great player but at this price, Monaco is right to sell. They may bring in Mahrez for 1/2 of that fee.

I think Monaco will struggle. The "been picked apart every season and had to rebuild"-story isn't as true if you look at their squad over the last couple of seasons. Jardim has only been in charge for 3 years, and the core of this season's team has been together as long. After James no big player has been lured away. Falcao even returned. Their recruitment has been outstanding, yes, but they could build and develop for 3, 4 years without anyone batting any eye over guys like Fabinho, Silva etc. because they didn't perform that good. A look at recent Ligue 1 tables is enough. In Jardim's first season practically all the core players of this season's team were there, and they finished 3rd, but almost 30 points off PSG. They were allowed to develop because they weren't as good as they were this year, they peaked this year, and now, they're really gonna be picked apart and lose squad balance, quality and cohesiveness.
And as of now, they'll have a lot eyes on them which will change if and how they can cling on to players, which is a big difference to the 2 to 4 years before.

A few departures from OGC Nice.

Baysse is leaving on a free, Ricardo Pereira is heading back to Porto after a successful loan spell.

Balotelli will probably leave to.

There's also been talk of Dalbert wanting to go to Inter Milan.

Belhanda will also be on his way out, with Nice unwilling to pay the fee demanded by Dynamo Kiev.

All signs point to Seri heading off to a bigger club.

Talk of Nice signing Valenciennes Adrien Tameze. Think they've also registered interest in taking Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea.

It's going to be very difficult to back up the performances of this season, though I'm sure they'll find players from nowhere as they have been for the past few seasons. They've also got some promising young talents.
