Gabriel Jesus: Sweet Baby Jesus

I'm sorry but this has always been Jesus. He lost his CF role to Foden and Bernardo Silva at City. He lost his CF spot to the Pigeon-Man over at Sp**s. This is more of a case of poor recruitment rather than poor development. Jesus is just not a top player. Yes, the injuries have taken a lot from him but there wasn't much to begin with.
Way too harsh & short sighted take.

Although never prolific he was rated as a very talented footballer who could play across the front 3.

The upgrade from Laca when he arrived was big & helped us massively that 1st season in challenging City & getting back in the Champs league. He could run, press like a mad man & had skills.

Unfortunately looks like injuries have done him.😔

Imagine competing for trophies with him and Nketiah. Arteta might be the greatest manager ever.

In all seriousness, he needs to go. Pathetic cameo again.

Get it out. He's washed. I was initially sympathetic as a result of his knee injuries, but now its both a lack of effort and interest. Sell him this Jan for everyone's sake.

@Red London

Those first three months when he was magic were nothing more than an abusive partner pretending to be nice, last 2 years have been pure torture 😭

Sounds like my Narcissist Ex. From being charmed over the first few months to "She deserve another chance, I believe I can change her"

The knee injuries have robbed him of that dynamism that made him so tough to defend
Missed countless one on ones during the same period. Went on a 10+ matches of not scoring before the injury saved his reputation. Scored 5 goals in almost half a season. We are calling the guy who scored 15 goals in that same season crap rn(justifiably so) but this guy got injured & all his sins of that period are forgotten.

Would this version of him be our starter rn? Sadly yes. But that just shows how bad the situation is rn rather than showing how great he was. He was just less pathetic back then

I’ve always said he doesn’t score enough. But he is (was) a quality all round footballer.

Now he's robbing our coffers of money meant for strikers streets ahead of him.

If you get the reference I'll be impressed 🤣

As expected he was stinky trying to score but otherwise he did well and it was a great cross.

I really feel we should try him at LW. It's not like our other options there have been even decent.

Unfortunately whenever we tried him on LW I somehow have a memory of him stinking up the place. Just not the same player we signed unfortunately and best to part ways before fans turn rabid.

Stopping to waste chances with poor shots and passing it to Saka instead was good decision making, can't say the same for our captain.

Will end up going on loan & released when his contract is up. Nothing player, one decent pass for the goal doesn’t change that
