Gabriel Jesus: The Fallen Angel

Both Jesus and Zinchenko were needed to elevate our team at that time. Still remember the 22/23 season when we started. Both were amazing. Since then they just fell behind + both are so injury prone. This is probably Zinny's 10th calf injury. He misses crazy amount of games. I think this season games so far are showing us what else we need for the complete team. Inevitable goal scorer and the Williams type winger on the left.

Not a team player anymore sadly seem he desperately want self glory Arteta need to speak to him because G.Jesus find himself in great position few times when he on pitch
Funny thing wasn't he almost too much of a team player before? I rember he often passed one to many instead of shooting for himself.

Weren't there some people saying he trained as hard as ever in pre-season. I think he really wants it too much. Maybe he will play better starting in the first 11. In his cameos he's overdoing it.

We have to try to get the most out of him this season. He'll move on in the summer.
Could be a difficult task to move him. Who will take him up on £260k with his injury list and form?

I hope Arteta can get the best or at least more out of him. Hopefully he can be a good squad player and play in the Cups and against teams like Southampton for Havertz/Saka. But I don't really see that with Arteta. He will only play he's best team unless against lower league opposition or if a player is injured.

That's why we loved him the guy was such team player first year here he got everyone involved. Currently he getting desperate want to prove himself and he forgetting what makes him good still early of season Arteta should tell him it's about the team not himself

He's so desperate to get a goal and prove himself that he's messing up fantastic situations. He tried to score himself twice against PSG, where a simple pass or cut back would've created a better opportunity.

Hope he gets this monkey off his back.

Not the happiest right now, you saw it when he got subbed off.

Needs time out there, and I think we can give that to him in the Champions League. We need Jesus firing on all cylinders during the run in, along with Sterling.

Or we can give more minutes to Nwaneri who actually looks like a spark instead of the striker who's on a 19 game dry streak for goals.

Also then we won't have to pull Kai away from cf

That was sad.

He tried a bit, had one or two good passes if we're being generous

That moment before he got subbed where he passed instead of trying to curl it in...

Even with his spotty finishing he used to bury that 9 out of 10 times.

Hard seeing someone this broken coming back from this.

Can't remember if it was me and @Trilly that felt he was never a killer because he didn't want to take penalties?

Think we had that conversation when it happened.

On one hand I understand that players have ebbs and flows in their careers in terms of form and confidence and have to play through the rough periods to get to the other side of it. Martinelli’s last couple performances see him coming right again after a long poor stretch.

But ****ing hell. I don’t think I want to watch this guy start in the Carabao Cup against Preston right now. It’s painful to watch.

Been saying all summer he is physically fine at elite level. Just too many injuries and there is no way we can carry him this season. We have to get a striker in January. It’s sad but football waits for no one

When he used to not score before, he used to be at least good in bringing others into play and technically strong.

But now he doesn't even have that. No way he should be anywhere near the starting 11.

Arsenal Quotes

Robert Pirès was a fabulous player, world-class, and for a few years, before his injury, he was unquestionably the best left-midfielder in the world by far. He had incredible technique, he was smart, a finisher. He was a killer with a smile, the gentlest man in the world who suddenly drive the ball exactly where it was needed.
