Gyok is underwhelming, but at least there is reason to explore how to make that work. We get worse up top when he comes on, and I don't want to watch him fall over 100 times in the hope of one moment of magic. It is like betting on green on a roulette table.

Play him vs Wigan. Kai needs to be our starter - Gyok off the bench when it suits. Jesus on counterstrike.

It's not looking good. He's not even doing the things outside of the end product we know he lacks right now. The movement is poor, he's not secure on the ball, he can't win duels and he doesn't have the legs to press anymore. Even a struggling Gyok offers more. Right now his best utility is as a body to absorb minutes.

Definitely.

As little as Gyok has shown lately recently, I still feel there could be a way to make it click a bit, and see a flurry of goals. I wouldn't bank on it, but it seems not completely outside of the realm of possibility given there's so much room for improvement in our attacking movement and transitions.

Jesus just feels like retreading old ground and well documented failures, without the pace or explosiveness it once came with.

Can we convert into a fullback until the end of the season. Obviously he’s always had flaws like his finishing in front of goal, confidence player etc but it’s sad to see that he can’t even dribble these days. Guy is fully cooked.

Might have to an Antonio Valencia and just utilise his work rate and straight line running to throw teams off, same applies to Nelli too.

Have you seen him trying to waste time in corners to kill off games? He short circuits. It’s mind boggling. I wouldn’t trust him to bake me brownies from the box.

Sadly we just seeing a guy who injures broken him he trying hard want to make things to happen this something i always like but he lost that flair he got i remember his first touch and him getting away from defender was one of his main strong points he now just get bullied.

Predicted that. People forgotten how bad he was before he was injured. Whenever he played it was like we only had 10 men.

Then inevitably when Gyokeres looked so sluggish and terrible, Jesus came in and look like a fresh breath of air with his style. I said within 2 matches people will be sick of him again and I am right. Absolutely useless and whenever he plays we looked worse off.

He was good before his first injury. That's about it.
