Gabriel Jesus: The Resurrection (Pt. 3)

Talk of jesus tonight wanting a new contract...I think we can thus write off any potential to move him on this january.

I am not adverse to keeping him if he can demonstrate he is back to somewhere near his past, unfortunately there are only fleeting moments of that thus far.

The jesus of 3 years ago is clearly our best striking option.

He had that one great goal vs Villa but other than that he's not looked very effective. I dont' really have any hope for him any longer.

Jesus is great vibes and I hope he wins something with us because his signing really was the beginning of Arsenal being a proper respectable title favorite team again, but he’s simply not the kind of player you bring in when you’re chasing a goal in the league. He doesn’t have the pace, the physicality, the finishing, the clutchness, etc. He’s a domestic cup and lower tier CL opposition kind of player. The change needs to start being Kai or Merino on for Gyok

He looked good but he's a CL Merchant as much as Nelli is. If he can replicate this sort of performance in the league then we're really cooking but I will believe it when I see it.

Any little help matter in league or CL we need him to contribute. Today he played extremely well always available and didn't let these inter defenders trouble him

Such a shame he’s been ruined by injuries because he is the perfect striker for Tetaball. No coincidence our best attacking play was when he joined in 22/23 and since he dropped off we’ve never rediscovered that style. Then again if ever there was a player who was going to stage a comeback..

It's interesting that all our attackers look totally different in the Champions League even against good teams. Jesus, Gyokeres, Martinelli all look like donkeys in the PL and seem to play like top forwards in the Champions League. Shows that our weakness is really just against low blocks.

It's weird how insanely overpowered we are that even our worst player looks great in the UCL

2 goals and shoulda had an assist if saka didnt delay his shot. Wasn't spectacular but probably the best striker's performance we've had from anyone in a while (probably have to go back to him 3 years ago) and at san siro nonetheless against an inter team desperate for a win. #Believe

Arsenal Quotes

I was receiving offers from many other clubs and declining them all, even the most tempting ones. Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG contacted me, Bayern, France, England...I am happy to have been able to say no to more glory, more money, and to have been guided only by the idea of loyally serving the club. I had knitted myself a soul in Red and White.
