• To all AM members and guests.

For the start of the new season, Arsenal Mania has relaunched the news side of the site. All articles are written by genuine Arsenal fans with no hidden agenda. You can visit the site via the menu at the top of the forum pages or go direct to our homepage

Additionally, Arsenal Mania is now sending all its registered members a bi-weekly Briefing Bulletin containing a digest of news and views from both parts of the site. Some of you may have already received the first edition and those that haven't should do so before the big kick off against United. If you are a guest visitor to this forum then if you join as a member, you will automatically receive the Bulletin.

Please support both these initiatives and help ensure the long term future of our site.

And don't forget all the injured attackers still haven't come back, apart from Gyok and Nelli the others havent played for months so will be a while before they can even be match fit.

Too a degree, Madueke will have had 2 months out so won't start but will be a force off the bench. Havertz won't start but can come on for Gyok with 70 minutes to go and give the later a break and add something different. Calafiori should be ready to go against Sp**s. Ødegaard should be ready to come off the bench. Our bench will actually be insanely strong and our starting team will be strong too.

If he got similar Martinelli injury then he might not comeback until like mid December. The good thing its not a serious injury still these things getting annoying it seem we'll never field our best first 11 and play together for extended period

I think it's because we press so hard and fight life and death for so many games

Could be the reason but that what make us good but honestly we dominate most games and dont play chaos football so we not doing high pressing full 90 minutes. Muscular injuries always happen when you don't allow your body rest our players most of them play 3 times a week that simply lot eventually your hamstring or groin gonna get damaged

I think in many games this season we have conserved energy. Even at 1-0 up you can see threads with posters complaining us not going for it and taking it to easy. We have also rotated decently. Of course it got more difficult as the injuries in the attack kept piling up. Maybe there is arguement we could have rotated better in the defense.

But to me this seems Gabriel really wanted to play for Brazil even if he hadnt be in full training for a while. It is really hard to stop these players because if they want to play they will say whatever to be able to play. Doctors and managers cant know the full story of their bodies.

I think with Ancelotti being new and the World Cup looming, Gabi wants to cement his place as guaranteed starter. He has only been a regular for what, a year maybe? You can’t blame him.

Arsenal Quotes

My first ever football memory was Charlie George's double winning goal in 71. After that game; I just became an Arsenal fan.
