The goal against Madrid, the goal against Brighton when we were leading, he is ok to make his decision.
In the fact, you need him to make a good decision under pressure, like yesterday or the match against Liverpool, he will take it badly

Need to consider him as someone like Arteta's Ji-sung Park. He absolutely has a role and part to play in this team. But given his last two seasons I don't see that being one of a nailed on starter, nothing against him that's just our level now.

@Trilly I saw you mentioned Nelli’s dribbling in the Gyokeres thread but all I see is this with him and the others above 🤣 kick and run footballers galore:

Literally posted this on the last page

Having considered things I do think Nelli is probably the best of the ‘kick and run’ mediocre wingers out there. No point of selling him because I doubt anyone will give us a decent fee for him and there’s use for a player like him in the squad.

Ngl I have to hold my hands up 😅 I thought Pedro Neto would have been a much bigger success than what he’s currently doing at Chelsea at the moment.

I think Jesus’ injury and Trossard’s form this season has thrown a spanner in the works. Had he been fit or Trossard been able to do some damage from the left then it would be one or the other if we got a good offer for them.

I didn’t even see this one. There was one where he could have cut across the defender but he shot with his left foot.

Is this the same one or something else?

Literally all he had to do was cross to Saka but he can’t do anything with his left foot because he’s a coward and has the IQ of a turtle.

I know Martinelli is getting cooked for not squaring that ball to Saka but maybe give him tiny bit of grace? The dude played like x4 back-to-back 90 mins recently.

This isn't FIFA/PES, players get fatigued.

Saka, timber, Ødegaard is the trio on the right, the 3 work together so well.

Martinelli, rice, MLS. It ain't the same at all, we still struggle down the left side. When jesus is fit he pulls to the left and we see a better martinelli.

I think we have to stick and make it work. Also there are very few wingers in world football who sprint like him for the full 90mins.

None of this is the reason why he can’t dribble or pass or get his head up.

As slow as trossard is he still performs better than martinelli when he plays on the right
