"A right footer was never going to make that pass". One of the things that continues to amaze me about football is how one-footed a player can be at the top level. They've had the best training in the world. I got all the technical training you'd expect from playing in youth leagues in Melbourne and Southern California, and even I could bend a ball with my (non-dominant) left foot by the age of 15.If Martinelli took another touch, VdV would have recovered to cut the angle and Udogie was close enough to Saka to cut out any pass to him. A pass to Saka was on but only a left footer could have made it. A right footer was never making that pass.
