Defensive work is the best attribute he offers tbh, Saka is also excellent in this regard and its why they're so good even when off form in an attacking sense.

We give tons of credit to our fullbacks and defence as a whole (as we should) but how often do these two leave their own defenders isolated against opposition? Virtually never.

Remember Sterling was brought in to be a back up/kick starter for Gabby first and foremost, so it's better for us to see Martinelli doing better as he is OUR guy.
