Saka has been better overall, but not by much. There is one goal separating them this season.Nah Saka has been good for the most part, very good.

Saka has been better by a lot. Hopfully you don't judge players by who scored more goals. By your logic Chris Wood is one of the beat players in the league ?Saka has been better overall, but not by much. There is one goal separating them this season.
I'm basing it on a player playing in our team. Not Nottihham Forrest. Explain "a lot".Saka has been better by a lot. Hopfully you don't judge players by who scored more goals. By your logic Chris Wood is one of the beat players in the league ?
Saka has been involved in almost every goal we scored since the beginning of the season with either scoring ,assisting or making the pass before the assist. 51% of our attacks are through the right side. His corner deliveries has been excellent so far with two key assists at Sp**s and City. Comparing him with Martinelli and his decision making of a third grader is an insult.I'm basing it on a player playing in our team. Not Nottihham Forrest. Explain "a lot".
This is exactly it. If it’s by instruction then wish listing a right footed winger is pointless. We need to find a left footed player who excels at crossing.I noted a while ago that his finishing used to be his standout attribute and has since gone missing, another thing I'm noting with him is that he plays like a left-footed LW despite being right-footed.
He doesn't really invert and take shots or crosses with his right. He drives it to the left and tries to push through from there. But since he's not left-footed, he can't really cross the ball from there that well, he'd have to use the outside of his foot to do so, and he doesn't have that in his locker.
I really don't get why this is the case.
I’ve said this so many times, Martinelli is almost always isolated. He gets no support from either the LB or LCM. This is not tennis, it’s a team sport, and players need their teammates in close proximity to combine with to create space for each other. That’s a fundamental aspect of playing football. He gets the ball in a standing position with two players to beat and nobody to play with. There are times where he does have the space and he ****ed up, and that’s on him, but at the moment the tactics are leaving him hung out to dry.Because Arteta wants him to play like a touchline winger which doesn't suit him as much as it does Saka. Besides that Saka has at least an overlapping fullback which drags a defender away from him. You can even see in the recent games in which White has been to defensively how ineffective Saka has been.
I still believe in Martinelli but not much will change if Arteta doesn't change. Martinelli is simply not the kind of player that will dribble past 2 defenders at once. There aren't many players that can do this anyway. He's a tenacious hard working inside forward that can cause havoc in central and wide areas but you need players that support him. Put Calafiori and Nwaneri on his side and you will instantly see a different Martinelli. The stats show that neither Merino or Rice have offered much progressive actions this season. Rice has been a lot better last season but that was before Arteta reverted back to this rigid no risk system.
If we’re to have a successful season we actually need him. Thats assuming we don’t sign a forward in January which I doubt highly.
I'm not putting them on the same level. But, they are both starters on our team. One is the star of the team, and the other is an important player. You are insulting our players.Saka has been involved in almost every goal we scored since the beginning of the season with either scoring ,assisting or making the pass before the assist. 51% of our attacks are through the right side. Nobody should unlock Martinelli he need to unlock himself lol by stop making simple things difficult not rushing his actions be more intelligent with his movement.Clearly Calafiori is supposed to unlock our left side and be a major help to Martinelli, but of course we signed yet another known cripple.
That's absolutely true. I am far from a Martinelli fan. I'm just trying to rationalise what Arteta's intentions were with our summer signings.Nobody should unlock Martinelli he need to unlock himself lol by stop making simple things difficult not rushing his actions be more intelligent with his movement.
All these things the basics for a winger
It was a freak injury, come on now.Clearly Calafiori is supposed to unlock our left side and be a major help to Martinelli, but of course we signed yet another known cripple.
