Saudi is best league in Asia currently its very competitive and as country they passionate about football. Qatar population are 75% foreigners and migrate workers and league isn't competitive and basically you'll go there just to collect big pay check

I doubt Qatar pays better than Saudi. You can still have a career after playing in Saudi, but moving to Qatar in your prime is a death sentence for your career..

PL teams looks weak this year. High posibility to repeat with the current LW players. He is also a team player which I appreciate. Works hard and never complain. Will never forget his contribution to Dowman goal against Everton.

No, he can stay/go wherever he wants. His life, his contract. Judging by our team selection against City however he'll have to spend most of the season out of the matchday squads

Although I'd prefer someone new and fresh on the wing, if we can't find a suitable alternative for a reasonable price, I don't think a lot of the options out there are much better than Martinelli

If all we're going to get is £40m then to flip it the other way, if we were signing someone of Martinelli's experience and a brazil international for £40m, then most would be over the moon and say what a bargain it is!

Not to forget his obvious flaws of being a head down winger, he still is very useful as a bench option, and my view on our left hand side failings isn't completely down to the fact we have poor left wingers, I also think our left full backs haven't always provided the right support (due to largely being inverted into defensive midfield) and the fact that although Rice has been largely playing in the left role that Xhaka vacated, his output creatively hasn't been at the level I think it should be to get the best out of our left wing, I think Bruno can unlock something there, and if we can get something close to what Martinelli contributed in 23/24 then that is a success

Maybe it's down to how optomistic I am with Tzolis given his performances so far, and this might be short sighted, but with the options of Tzolis/Martinelli/Eze we have options out there, we just need to see them fit for long periods and hopefully the competition for places drives performance

Vini jr/Kvaratskhelia/Diaz would have been the dream, but the other options out there just aren't filling me with hope that we'll resolve our problems from the past few years

Might be a long shot, but I'd also be really keen to see Dowman out there, he can go both ways and a left footed winger wouldn't be the worst thing in the world
