Certainly not that he was going to win a Ballon D'Or in the next couple of years or that he looked like the heir to Messi which many people feel Yamal will and does. I was more optimistic about him than many but at no point in his life has Nelli ever looked as talented as Yamal. Maybe in the early days I thought he could be an Alexis Sanchez level player. That's a far cry from what Yamal's ceiling is.

Yeah, he can be upgraded upon, but until this happens what is this noise about? Rodrygo is starting for Madrid, Williams don't like us.. like who else is there?

Anybody who objectively watches Arsenal knows that Saka and Martinelli sre our best two forwards. Trossard, Havertz and Jesus should all be ahead in terms of being able to find finding better replaceable talent.

There's so many players who in my opinion would be a better fit than Martinelli, he struggles so much with the basics and doesn't really have any elite traits.

He's a decent rotation option.

You could turn the brightness up or take off those shades, anything to see the screen better. Havertz, Jesus and Trossard are much easier to replace in terms of finding attacking talent. Most teams are very worried about Nelli, but couldn't give a **** about Havertz.

Yes, Trossard should be out before Nelli. Elite wingers like Kvara, Dembele, Barcola, Doue, Yamal, Raphinha, Vini, Rodrygo, Musiala, Olise,Williams, Neto either uninterested or unattainable. Then Leao, Rashford but some said too inconsistent/low work rate. Below them are :
At best very good but not elite like Semenyo, Mitoma, Lookman.
Younger less proven like Gittens, Fofana, Pino, Madueke, Dibling, Diao.
Near 30s still elite if fit like Coman, Sane.
Versatile forwards not true winger (may develop into wingers) like Rogers, Kenan, Guessand.
So market for wingers aren't very easy.

Diaz is just as fast, works just as hard and is a better finisher?

Gakpo isn’t as tenacious or athletic but is a very clean ball striker.

It's a shame Martinelli ran offside against City, as he finished it beautifully with the outside of the foot.

Personally, I would try him up front more, but Arteta doesn't want to even though he had a good impact vs Liverpool at Anfield.

I wonder what those stats look like if they start after his return from injury. He seemed far more dangerous and involved in games. I even saw him stick his head up.

People attacking our few good players but not the coach who's set them up to overcome mountains before they can do an "offensive" play. And when they need to do that it's against 2 defenders all the time because yes, control is more important for our coach.

I don't even disagree with that, but the club is being swerved by a lot of them.

So far, we don't even seem close to signing an upgrade on Nelli.
