Gabriel Martinelli: The Grift Of The Gab

Yeah Martinelli was quietly picking up form and somewhat deputising for Saka as best he could. The sentiment unfairly switched wildly on him so it's actually a big shame he's sidelined now.

I also think he was oncourse to matching or bettering his previous best numbers wise.
Agree with most of this. I can't see him matching his best numbers, but he has had more impact recently, particularly on the right. If only he could stay onside when looking along the line, he could have a few more goals already. That finish against City was delightful.

He's also one of the few players with decent pace in the team, so it does hurt us against teams that don't play deep blocks.

It's also worth remembering how much of our play goes down the right between Ødegaard and Saka, leaving Nelli very isolated on the left. Ode needs to stop drifting right all the time, it's so predictable and easy to defend. It's also why we are so bad at creating chances through the middle this year.

He’s not going to be running. He’s just lifting weights.

If only Arsenal had like a team of qualified medical professionals who could decide what Martinelli’s recovery should look like. There’s just so many opportunities for us to be so much better.

I guess AM "experts" know better than Arsenal medical professionals how Martinelli's recovery should look like.
I wonder why these "experts" are wasting their time on forum, why aren't they in Dubai with the squad.

Please no agreement and just pretend we want to sell to get value as contract negotiations went not as planned ...

As usual, questionable decisions not to get any forward in then injury happens to the key forwards. So Arsenal, sometimes made its own bad luck.

Arsenal Quotes

When I am asked why I stayed at Arsenal so long.. my answer is simple; I never wanted to be anywhere else. I could have earned a lot more elsewhere, but that wouldn't compensate for all the good years at Highbury.
