Why you not doing this in consistent bases?.

That an incredible pass credit to him
He occasionally reminds us that he is talented. He’s talented enough that he’ll have good cameos especially if you keep the sample size low enough by making him a sub.

I think the assist is the bare minimum I’d expect from a competent wide player with that much space but credit to him for pulling it off,
I needed that reminder that he can actually play football because sometimes I feel like he wouldn’t look out of place in the championship.

I have to say, as much as we **** on this dude, he’s been involved in some very very important goals this season that have made serious statements or changed the outcome of some key matches. Could give you like 7 examples off the top of my head. He’s not the most skillful and not the most clinical, but he really doesn’t hide as much as the majority of our other forwards have this season. Idk man, I think he’s actually had a solid season overall. He’s so often the one that has the chance to change our fortunes. Doesn’t always end up doing it lol, but still at least seems to have the courage to put himself in those situations and shoulder the responsibility

Martinelli has big impact in CL game again, just needs to start doing it in the league too.

We've seen this play out multiple times already just this season.

- Awful miss vs Forest
- Awful miss vs Brentford
- Not being able to beat Sa from 1 meter out
- Not even hitting the target from effectively a free shot vs Southampton

This guy is the opposite of clutch.

If it wasn't for the goal he scored vs City in September, you could make an argument he's cost us 6 points in the league.

lol which one is it?

Great cameo anyway, I think keeping his sample size low by being a sub and using him in open games is the best way to use him. When you start giving him 60+ minutes is when you’re asking for trouble. Even this bright race would have probably reverted to his true level after a few more minutes. Not the first time I’ve seen him have bright spells in an overall poor game.

Thought it was a good cameo performance even excluding the assist.

He and Noni were the two offensive bright spots for me. Whatever their flaws they commit and take their opponent on which is something you need against a really well drilled side like Sporting.

He is much better as a super sub. I'd start Saka on the left if he is fit and Dowman on the right.

I don't know I think Dowman is far more effective in the middle as teams just can't foul him as easily. You can get away with kicking wingers on the touchline.

Arsenal Quotes

There is no chance of Sol ever leaving for Arsenal. He is a Spurs fan and there is not a hope in hell of him playing in an Arsenal shirt.
