Would let Saka date his daughter

Player:Saka
I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves . IMO he should. We know Arteta won't give him that chance he deserves , as Ethan, MLS , Walters and now Sagoe Jr will take up all the little youth time that Arteta has to give. But let's wait and see .
Duberry is talented but unfortunately there are prospects in those attacking positions that look to have a higher ceiling than him. Even a guy like Saka just turned 22, still very young. Duberry should def have been on loan this season.

I don't know if I'd make that call yet on Cozier-Duberry. He's started the season quite slowly but I think there's a lot to work with despite his small frame. I was surprised he didn't go on loan but it may be because of his contract situation. Definitely something to watch as I don't think he'll be easily usurped by anyone behind him currently.

I want him to leave simply because he's a top player and can play at PL level but I think he's career will stagnate with us. We all know Nwaneri is next in line in those CAM/Winger spaces then it seems Mikel likes Sagoe Jr who's actually played more games.with the team than ACD in those closed doors training ground friendlies. Mikel is no Wenger so I feel right now there's only room for those two. I would prefer if we get good money from him but if not I need to see him playing some football where he can showcase himself week in week out and progress

Shame really. There's a timeline where he is comfortably filling in for Saka and bringing his own unique brand to the RW role - but looks like we'll have our heart set on buying someone who either won't play or won't have a high ceiling or just playing Saka until his achilles falls off.

Disappointing for me especially after losing Hutchinson. I'm glad Reiss is still at the club and we have a shot at having our flashy winger through the ranks. (Maybe that's Sagoe Jr, who knows!)

I don't think Duberry is ready for EPL level. Not just his frame, but his decision making is nowhere near Saka's level at that age. Although I do think Duberry is a bit more agile and technical than Saka was at that age. But Saka's physicality, power and instincts were freaky as a teenager.

He's defo not ready right now, more mean in the future. I still maintain he should have gone on loan but think its contract related.

If the U19 gets a win in this group they done well. These teams are too good

Big fan of Rosiak. Has real potential as an inverted RB. Both footed, fantastic passer, press resistant and a set-piece threat. Wilshere's ace last season IMO. Could be better defensively of course but has the capacity for sure.

Inverted rb is not an actual position and to teach a kid to play like that will harm his future. Just focus on the basics of being a rb. 99.99% of teams don’t play this inverted nonsense

He's playing a lot in midfield this season. I envision him being more Trent than Zinchenko in style (not talking ability). He'll never be a traditional RB but that's kinda the point.

FWIW I kinda agree with you though, i miss full backs doing full back ****.

After watching Zinchenko I have actually started to value a fullback who can defend. It’s funny the moment we want stability we bring in Tomiyasu for Zinchenko. Says a lot how little Arteta trust him.

He is equally good as a RB as he is as a CM and I think football is evolving in a way where players play multiple positions within the game. I was watching Sp**s Ange ball and Porro regularly inverted inside almost as a CM whereas Udogie played almost the Xhaka LCM role regularly. De Zerbi has done the same with Gross and Milner this season so I think the fullback role will evolve and he is well equipped to be a modern day fullback. Zinchenko transitioned quite later into the role as he's spent most of his life as a CAM/10 until Pep.

I think learning the basics is vital for kids. Being a very good defender means he will have career no matter what. Being half half’s means unless he finds specific manager who alter his tactics for him he will struggle

If full-backs want to have a future at big clubs they need to learn that inverting full-back role. It's the current meta in top football.

Arsenal's UYL game vs Sevilla kicks off in about 50 mins and it's on arsenal.com for anyone who wants to watch!

The line-up is:

Rojas
Rosiak Walters Heaven Sousa
Gower Lewis-Skelly Dudziak
Cozier-Duberry Obi Sagoe Jr

Subs: Cooper, Nichols, Kacurri, Oulad-M'Hand, Ferdinand, Kamara, Benjamin
Lewis-Skelly returns to make this side a lot stronger, Nwaneri still injured. Perhaps the big news for this current lineup is that Chido Obi starts in the UYL at 15 years old upfront. As per Jeorge Bird, he's the 6th schoolboy to start in the UYL. I wanna say he's younger than Reiss was but I need to remember the timeline.

This will be a very good chance to see how well the defenders cope with Europe, particularly Heaven as he's the only 1st year in the backline. Cozier-Duberry and Sagoe Jr playing off Obi will be similarly interesting.

We've conceded a terrible set piece goal. Not the best start. The 3 forwards are looking good. Lewis-Skelly rusty.
