I assume both today's new signings in Mooney and Dixon will step straight into the U21s? I am keen to see how they fit in.

Dixon is a CB, right? Hopefully he and Salmon can form a strong partnership and we can start to kick on a bit in the league. Looking at the table is a bit depressing!

Both Dixon and Salmon are right footed but I assume Dixon will either play RB or be ahead of Clarke (I think the latter). Mooney I think should play upfront. We look quite bloated on the wings and for some reason we still haven't sent Sagoe Jr on loan inexplicably.

The commentator at the Carabao Cup said Dixon is the great nephew of Lee our former RB. If he's as good as Lee then we've got ourselves a gem

Might see him next season.
Will need to see him over the next few months to verify. He'll play tonight most likely so we'll see more of what he's about but he looks pretty physical and has a nice passing range.

Just need to see if he's gonna play RCB or RB. We have options in those 2 positions now with Salmon, Dixon, Hamill and King (who's more RB/RW than RB/CB but still an option).

Shame Nichols is gonna leave for nothing basically, we could have gotten a lot more for him IMO if we actually put more effort into developing him. He's a very good player, even though he's small.

Glad to finally see him going for some first team football. I've always felt there's a player in there even if the deck is stacked against him making it here now as an already 21 year old talent. I do rate BBJ higher though so this helps him get minutes at LW hopefully. Still, hopefully is a good move for Sagoe Jr and he gets some numbers out there. It's all his game is missing at first team level.

Sagoe Jr has improved alot. Very confident now running with the ball down the left and cutting inside. He plays like a senior in the U21 team. Hope he smashes it in Sweden.

Some of these clips I haven't seen. This is a top talent here, definitely the best winger since Hutchinson. Think he has decent #10 potential aswell but his best role is definitely off the left IMO with the licence/freedom to come central often. Put an overlapper behind him and let him cook.

If I were him, I'd roam more. Sometimes I feel he gets bypassed yet everytime he gets it he's usually effective. Arsenal at all levels have a problem platforming their more effective players. Even Dowman has had games where he doesn't see the ball for about 10 mins of gameplay. BBJ is a guy you need involved as much as possible.

Arsenal Quotes

Arsène Wenger's idea is not only to play good football. It's to play good football to win. In my day, we knew that with our style we could hurt teams and win trophies too. But we did it our way, with the positional game, passing, movement.
