Very dissapointed. I admit I haven't been watching the games due to the time zone difference. But I have been keeping up to date with the match reports and the results and I believe we were now favourites to win the Cup?

Freeman apparently picked up a slight injury before the match. Considering the form hes been in, both in the reserves and during the Dallas Cup, this may have made all the difference.

Still! Good experience, a good showing. We got some decent results and went further than Barca! Very excited to see Freeman's progression btw. And hopefully Ozyakup will sign a new deal also.

The worst thing about it was that we were so predictably lacking in the exact same way the first team is. Not a good sign.

Shame Arsenal lost in the semi finals yesterday but the Dallas Cup will have been a great experience for the players who went. Of what I saw of the Dallas Cup Luke Freeman, Conor Henderson, Roarie Deacon, Josh Rees, and Angha impfressed me the most. Just think if Benik Afobe, Chuks Aneke, Ignasi Miquel and Nicholas Yennaris all went to the Dallas Cup they might have won it. I thought both goal keepers played well through out the Dallas Cup. The defence I was not that convinced by. The midfield controlled most of the games a lot of the time. Frimpong not as his best as he is coming back from long term injury. How Deacon and Freeman would swap sometimes with each over during matches worked well.

I think Arsenal reserves next game is against Man Utd away next week. There should be a stream for it as MUTV normally had reserve games live on it.

Yep, this. That a youngster misses out for Aliadiere to keep up his fitness is a joke, what a complete waste of time.

I think Aneke was unfit/coming back from injury, but it still doesn't sit well with me.
