If you look at the average position maps from the last few games Xhaka has been playing quite a bit more advanced than Partey, Wijnaldum would fit in that role as the more advanced midfielder like a glove.

Mainly because He can run faster than a tortoise, not like Xhaka

How does this make sense for PSG? Surely you keep him as on option for the latter rounds of the CL? It’s not like their midfield is great. I thinks it’s probably the most dead part of their team.
Yeah doesn’t make sense at all but it’s the only link that excites me.

He was Liverpool's most important midfielder, when he was at Anfield, imo.
I am a bit suspicious about it. Emre Can was also quite important for Liverpool, but he was so average in Juventus.

Nah, and he isn't the answer.. he is side move to Elneny.. better than Patino and Lokonga, but he can't replace Xhaka-Partey.
Bruno Guimarães is the answer if not guys like Locatelli, Fabian Ruiz etc, that are out of Arsenals reach.

Not against the transfer but what did he expect turning down Liverpool for PSG? Like the move was money driven, Verratti is a main stay for PSG and although you can claim hes crap but Herrera actually does well for PSG.

You got Messi, Neymar and Mbappe who wont be defending (also taking 3 spots) so you need someone like Gueye in more challenging games and then there is still Di Maria who has been solid for PSG.

His name in the starting eleven was never a given.

Only worry about if he comes here is if he has started to wind down a bit, however if he doesnt want to ride the bench for 6months sounds like he still wants it.

Nothing wrong with making a move for money. Every player does that. Who would stay at Liverpool when they can earn a lot more at PSG? It’s not like he will lose money if he goes out on loan either

He'd be fine for 6 months, don't want us to go back to the retirement home, assisted living signings though. Short term only please.
