Another howler from Burki this weekend, Dortmund managing to get away with it this time. When you look at their best XI, half of the players are genuine quality, and the other half really are not close to good enough for a Bundesliga winning team

Hoffenheim appoint Alfred Schreuder as Julian Nagelsmann's succesor. The 46-year old had been working as an assistant manager at TSG from October 2015 to January 2018 and is currently working as an assistant for Erik ten Hag at Ajax Amsterdam. Schreuder has signed a contract until 2022.

"We have worked intensely and calmly on findin an optimal solution for us and are very happy now to release the facts", said Hoffenheim DoF Alexander Rosen. "As we had clarity very early on, we could use the time to work meticulously and lay out an intense but patient process of hiring a new manager." Rosen went on to explain that Schreuder knew the structures and most of the team at Hoffenheim: "With his excellent expertise and his strategic, clear and communicative manner he had a decisive part in recent success."

Quite an interesting, leftfield choice.

I thought they would go for Marco Rose

Everyone thought he was their first choice, but he's a much thought after man. Wolfsburg and Schalke seem interested, Stuttgart might be looking for a new coach next season, RB wants to keep him in the franchise and he can play CL or EL with them.

Dortmund were unbelievably lucky, big howler from the opposition keeper and then Alcacer kicks it in off his standing foot

Kai Havertz slotted home a penalty and then did this for Leverkusen in the first half against Leipzig.

The next great German player.

Last 3 league games at Bayern have been 6-0, 4-1, 5-1

Bayern really have something over Dortmund playing at home.
