Apparently Hansi Flick's future at Bayern is in doubt.
This summer, Rummenigge, who is said to be Flick's person of trust at Bayern, will leave the club and go into retirement and Oliver Kahn will take his position. Flick is uncertain how that will influence his position and working conditions.
Furthermore, Flick is said to be at odds with Salihamidzic about Bayern's transfer strategy. Salihamidzic is said to be in almost total contral over transfers and Flick is unhappy about that, being dissatisfied with this season's new signings as well as holding the opinion that their team is currently weaker than in prior years. Flick hasn't been happy about losing Thiago - and thus control and passing quality in midfield - and neither is he happy about losing Alaba in the summer.
Flick has reportedly also been contacted by a number of English clubs and seems to be DFB's No. 1 target to replace Joachim Low should the latter decide to finally step down or be fired as Germany's NT coach after the EC.
Interesting developments, especially considering a lot of coaches who were on the market are now off it again: Tuchel, who was a Bayern candidate before Flick, is now at Chelsea, poch is in France, Rose a Dortmund target and thus Ten Hag a Gladbach target. Could develop into a very interesting situation, depending on Bayern's season and how disrupted Flick's relationship with Salihamidzic truly is.
Stuttgart have some gems. I like Gonzalez a lot. Seems like he has a lot of potential. Silas Wangamituka also looks very good. Just strolled through the Mainz defence and finished with ease. Pace for days.
