Why

Always Me ?
I still don't get why people rated him last season. He was 90% of the problem pre Christmas.

Every game there was a dodgy backwards pass, and yes in some cases he recovered it, but lots and lots of mistakes from him.

He was always a split second away from a Red card.

Just an idiot with his sendings off. Wasn't leading in errors leading to goals at one point?

I know people flip flop on this forum after one game. But jees, he has never been a standout performer for us. Just a warm body that was better than the other ****e we purchased or loaned.

He has been very good for us since Mikel arrived. He was influential in our FA Cup win and has arguably been our most consistent player this season.

Obviously this says a lot about our state but there's nothing wrong giving him praise when he does well.

We know his limitations and we know we need better to reach the level we want.

This is a good opportunity for us to close this chapter and upgrade.

This is where ambition is shown. Many top midfielders have been made available in the current climate across Europe.
If the money is right, you can get almost any player. It's time for Mikel to show all that waffling about being ruthless and investing wasn't for nothing.

Plus we will miss his leadership qualities, the way he brings the team together, you can see it in every goal celebration, him along with Luiz. Lets hope his replacement can adapt quickly, faster than Partey did at least so we are not playing catchup when the season gets going.

An official source in Rome confirms to #جرس_أرسنال On Arsenal rejecting an offer for Granit Xhaka last week (without discussing the financial details), he says talks between the two clubs have taken a positive momentum since then and are full of hope that an agreement will be reached soon.

A deal that will suit everyone concerned, I think. He needs a new challenge, and he will do well in Serie A. We need a player that is a better fit for how we want to play.

I believe the target of anything in life should be to do it so well that it becomes an art.
