Doubt England will win. The Sp**s of international football. Stirring music, quotes by Nelson, The Duke of Wellington, Dad's Army, If by Rudyard Kipling - end result Morris Marinas and Iain Duncan Smith.

I think Walker and Trippier are definitely in. Best combination of form, experience and all-around play. Not sure if he invites a third RB, if he does it's between TAA and James. If I'm Southgate I'm calling Trent, he's too big of an attacking option not to have in the squad at all.

Maybe I'm biased being English but this is the most confident I've been about England at a major tournament ever. Offensively I wouldn't swap our attack for any other in the world.

Southgate is my main concern. He's a poor manager. Negative, very reactive in terms of game management and his substitutions are generally late and not inspiring.

We can't be wasting this level of talent on a poor manager. Southgate's done a lot to remove the negativity around the England squad so I give him credit there but anything less than the final he needs to be sacked.

I want to see England on the front foot going after sides and putting them away, at least in the early stages. None of this trying to nullify the opponents strengths. Play with confidence and attacking intent and we'll do well.

With Kane as your main striker anything is possible. He just needs to carry his form into the Euros. Like I said, and not being English, I have them as one of my favorites. Think this could be the year for a major international trophy!

Crazy that England could win the group and they’ll face the runner up of Group F which is France, Germany or Portugal

I'd take France first now that Benzema has returned to the team, but yeah, after them England probably has the best attack in the world at the moment.

Now, I can see why one would be hopeful. There is some real talent in this English side, but history tends to show that England will flatter to deceive. Then there is the tabloids with words that would be more suitable during the Hundred Years War.

I wish you well, but the rational mind would urge caution here.

For a team that relies so much on set pieces, not taking Trent and Ward-Prowse is a bit idiotic. The likes of Maguire mentioned that they spend an outrageous time working on set-piece training for England.

Trent not going? Just shows how much of an effect a media narrative of a poor season can do.

Talk of Saka not making it. Strange as his versatility would be important if I was selecting a team. I think England could go all the way. And if Scotland set up strongly they will make it out of the group.
